There was never direct evidence of SW poisoning ZL. All were speculation. If you want to convict someone, you got to have something more than just a suggested motive and assumed accessibility to the poison. It's laughable to call SW the criminal based on these "evidence".

刚看了 余秋雨在奥运时候的 博客，他说 世界上曾经如此大规模的欢迎过世界各国来
宾的其实只有一个国家，就是中国，什么时候？唐代的长安，尽管那个时候谈不上奥运
会，但是你想想看，这是什么概念？当时的罗马城不到五万人，长安是100万人，70几
个外交社团，我们长安城里面吃的是阿拉伯面食，用的是罗马一粟，看的是印度杂技，
穿的是波斯的服装，世界各国的宗教在我们那儿都有他们的教堂，中国人已经很习惯于
用平静的心态面对丝绸之路来的各国的客人，这种平和的心境，从容的心境希望能够在
我们新的世纪不仅复活，而且更好的弘扬。

1989年10月1日前夕，上海市府举办招待酒会，庆祝PRC 建国40周年。来宾中有美
国驻上海总领事。原上海复旦大学校长谢希德，在招待酒会上主动问美国总领事“我们
要作甚麽事，才能解决方励之问题？”。大使立即将谢的举动转告我们。
我们判断:“这是邓小平发出的信号，中共想要解决问题了。” 大使也持同样看法。
谢希德的学术身份，是一位物理学教授，专长于点群空间群在固体物理中的应用。
谢的政治身份，是中共中央委员。谢是从美国回归者。八十年代，她每年至少到美国一
次，代表中国物理学会参加美国物理学会年会。谢认识李和我。早在1950年代后期，谢
一度从上海来北大物理系工作，协助黄昆建立半导体研究班子，直到这时，谢才入党。

首先，德国人的首要目标是什么？希特勒的想法是很明确的，那就是消灭红军主力，而
不是攻克莫斯科 (D. Glantz, The Battle for Leningrad, Kansas Univ. Press, pp.
26)。这个逻辑很自然：如果只是攻克莫斯科，俄国人仍然可以抵抗，从历史上看，俄

STOCKHOLM – Two explosions in central Stockholm killed one person and
injured two on Saturday, causing panic among Christmas shoppers.
Police spokeswoman Petra Sjolander said a car exploded near Drottninggatan,
a busy shopping street in the center of the city. Shortly afterward, a
second explosion was heard higher up on the same street, and a man was found
injured on the ground.
