if you are so concern about the injury, you can let the kid play double-

趣在网上找两个录像看看，比如说去youtube 搜索 tennis forehand. 至于墙，在
quincy president's golf course, mit, lexington high school 都有。
这样的话你来，可以和其他初学者一起玩，共同提高。我们今年晚些时候尽量安排网球

the net, when my partner attacks, i.e., when I hear the smash or drop, I
lift the racquet head above the net.
I am very impressed by Justin's net drops. I tried pretty hard to remember
any net block or net rush that he played during our games last weekend, but

I can see it is easier to use forehand to push the short serve when
receiving at the left side of the court, but at the right side, wouldn't it
be easier to use the backhand to hit the short serve, particularly when it
is served to the middle?

(assuming you're RH) if you hit it at head height or higher, in front of you
. If you contact the birdie at lower than shoulder, I think you can only use
BH; there's a limit to how much you can twist your upper body and arm for a
FH stroke.

Guess it also depend on the receiver's height (or the serve's quality) and
the return angle would be very limited. If using forehand, returning to the
backhand of the serving side would be very difficult.
Using backhand to receive will allow a much wider angle of attack, though I
usually push it to the backhand side of the servers.

maybe posting my my 锻炼LOG here could motivate me go to gym more often:
April 23 Sat.
2 hour grass volleyball, hiked almost 5 hours at
Eagle Peak of Mnt Diablo, most extreme day for me,
then stopped by gym for 2 hours for light workout,
swimming, stream and Jacuzzi, just relaxed and recovered.
April 24th Sunday
3 hour grass VB, worst play for myself, still feel
the stiffness of my thighs...

many good baseball hitters can hit from both sides of the plate, and some
tennis players can do two handed forehand as well as back hand. |

都是一发，从膝盖伤以后，没有专门练习过发球，这是第一次。
准备这个月专门练习发球，每周一次专门练习发球，其他时间每次打完球练习100个。3
月初再奔一次，看看是不是进步。
另外还有正手的groundstroke，包括cc，down the line, inside-in，inside-out,
running forehand，以前两个为主。

So when i played him today, i was at first surprised about his
improvement of forehand looping skills, i was behind 0:6, realized
that i had to change, so i played more carefully, caught to 9:10
with my own serve, but forgot he had problems with my LP serves, so
i lost 9:11 first game. I felt he played like 2000 level. So i was
a little worried.

attack, he is about 2140, i feel he is someway stronger than Zheda's #1,

i found it is a lot easier to practise tennis serves, i have 200 tennis
balls,
practise serves whenever i could not find a partner due to the fact the
tennis
court is so easy to get one.
i never specified to pratise TT serves, not i do not like to, but it never
happened.
S.F.'s serves and forehand looping have been improved a lot, but his RPB has
a
long way to go. |

at Baltimore, against one, i won the first game like 11:6, i thought i would

to 1700, she was born in HK, moved to usa at 6-7 y.o. married with a
japanese-
american. i played with these 2 ladies over 20 times, never lost before,
both
have great forehand, but weak backhand, game of theirs is pretty single-
dimentional. |

in tennis, the racket totally missed touching the ball) or return too high.
think about the space is 3-dimensional, besides top/down, left side/
rightside spins,
we have screw spins, it is relatively easier to serve screw spin with high
toss.
just like slice serves in tennis.

big corner, ur loop is strongest... maybe u should hit more instead
of spin more, 磨多打少 is good for strong underspin like my pushes,
but sometimes hit more is more deadly. |

到底是打多 还是磨多
我觉得首先两个都得练练好 有的时候需要稳定 有的时候需要杀伤力 就看怎么平衡
我昨天跟一个没有分的 水平很一般 但是反手上旋球打的不错的球友练反手
对于他的冒高上旋球 我这个磨跟打就没平衡好 经常是飞掉出界
现在是一个困难时期 这种反手上旋 稍微高的 又想去弹 又想去打 但是往往还是磨…

would drop 200 points after a close match losing like 9:11 to
a 2000+ guy.
i love to play with a consistent “低手”, like Kent Yu, a 1500
2-wing looper at FC club.
also i like to play defensive “低手” s.t. i can practise my
attacking skills. The “低手”i like least is that who just
like to serve and attack, very unbalanced player.
Even 1200 level “低手” liek Karen Xu is fun to play with since
she has such a consistent forehand. we can drill fo |

using as a forehand rubber, SpinPips is good, Guoliang and
Longcan used to use them.
When Chen, Longcan used at SF bay area back to 07, i saw he used
SpinPips.
i saw a lot of pips penholders are using Fairstorm, which is
fastest short pips from butterfly. |
