l*****w 发帖数: 344 | 1 Since you guys are mentioning about the RVU, so I google it and would like
to know whether my understanding is correct.
Medicare Conversion Factor (CF) since 2000
$36.6137 (2000), $38.2581 (2001), $36.1992 (2002), $36.7856 (2003), $37.3374
(2004), $37.8975 (2005), $37.8975 (2006),
$37.8975 (2007), $38.0870 (2008), $36.0666 (2009), $36.0791 (1/1/10-5/31/10)
, $36.8729 (6/1/10-12/31/10), and $33.9764
(2011).
2012 Medicare Conversion Factor = $24.6712
Example
Total non-facility RVUs for CPT code 99213 (geographically adjusted) =
(Work RVUs x Work GPCI) + (Non-Facility Practice Expense RVUs x Practice
Expense GPCI) + (PLI RVUs x PLI GPCI)
(0.97 x 0.982) + (1.03 x 0.968) + (0.07 x 1.553)
(0.95254) + (0.99704) + (0.10871) = 2.05829
Total Medicare payment = Total geographically adjusted RVUs x Medicare
Conversion Factor.
In 2008, for the service (99213), doctor’s Medicare payment is $78.29 but
in 2012, the Medicare payment is just $50.78.....
Is my calculation correct? |
