I once suggested rejection of a paper at the 2nd round of review after a
major revision.
A major technical error was picked up at this 2nd round of review by me. The
reason why I was paying extra attention to the paper at the 2nd round of
review was that the author failed to address specific points raised at the
1st round of review.
I made very detailed analysis of the error, and the associate editor
rejected the paper. |
