因为这些electors 选谁是州法律定的 他们只不过是州政府的临时公职人员 代表所在

除了maine 和 Nebraska 各州都是winner takes all 也就是 如果加州的popular vote
选了Bernie 那加州的所以electors都要pledge to elect Bernie 这个election是
public record
Maine 和Nebraska 是选区代表制 也就是谁赢了那个选区的popular vote 那个选区的
elector就pledge to elect him, 剩下两个electors pledge to elect popular vote
winner
所以美国选举理论上是间接选举 但和直选几乎是一样的 差别仅在与虎谋于人口少的州

她drop out,对她身体有好处,对川普的胜选也有好处。
理由如下:
她筹的钱肯定不希望用在别人身上,别人也没她那么会筹钱。民主党竞选,靠的就是钱
,没钱就买不到媒体,买不到工作人员,买不到选票。
她的那一班人马,也不会立即全身心投入到别人的竞选中去,换个新人凑齐一班人马都
不是一天两天的事。
还有那些认为她从政经历长,适合做总统的人,换了别人未必会拥护
想美国出个女总统的人,如果换了男候选人,有可能就不投了。
民主党内部也有pollster的,经常性的poll,如果换别人比她更有希望,早换了。
最重要的一点,美国的大选,不仅是大众投票,还有electors,而最终的结果由
electors决定。
有29个州和华盛顿特区的electors是绑定了的,谁得到的popular票数多,谁就得到
elector的票。
但有21个州没有绑定electors,他们可以想投谁就投谁。
这就是索罗斯说的:川普会以landslide的方式赢得popular投票,但最终不会成为总统
,含义就是electors会选希拉里。
如果把希拉里换成别人,electors就未必那么支持了。

现在都在讨论romney赢popular vote但是输掉electors vote的情况。
其实还忽略了一点,就是faithless electors. 这些elecotors是可以随便投给谁的,
无论谁赢了那个州。 现在已经有一个nevada的elector说他不会投给romney,就算
romney赢了,而会投给Ron Paul. 另外几个elector也有类似的想法。
另外就是,如果最后结果是271:267,或者272:266这类的情况的话,只需要2-3个
faithless elector就能改变结果了,尤其是如果romney赢了大选,输了elector vote
的情况。
反正一团乱,本来一人一票是最好的办法,非要搞得这么复杂。

这些学过美国历史的都知道,是高中必修的,也就是说,凡是在美国读高中的都知道这
些。现在经常有人提议要把 Electoral College 去掉,可是大家都不愿意,因为
nothing is broken 就不要动。
美国刚建国的时候,Electoral College 本来的作用是因为当时大多数的选民的教育程
度不高,怕大家投错票,是为了公众的方向而设立的。公众选 electoral college,
electoral college 的票来选总统。总统的候选人赢了一个州大多数的大众选票,他就
得到那个州所有的 electoral college votes. 所以有时候选票很靠近的总统选举有可
能因为 electoral college 的票赢了,不是大众的票。。这是因为有些州的人多,有
些州的人少。
再追历史的,以前的奴隶是没有选举权的,或者 5 个黑人只有 3 张选举权。所以,美
国有民权运动这一概念,在别的国家。。。。
记住,这是美国开国就有的制度,差不多 300 多年前了。。
