而造成的. 如果是type-1 diabetes, 本身缺少insulin, ketone会是很大问题. 如果是
type-2 diabetes, 本身有insulin, 只是insulin risistance的问题, 这点insulin虽
然不能降血糖, 但一般足够对付ketone了, 所以type-2 diabetes一般不会有ketone的
问题.
回到gestational diabetes, GD的问题是荷尔蒙造成insulin resistance增加, 和type
-2是一个原理, 照理不该有ketone的问题啊? 为什么我看到板上很多人有这方面的
concern呢? |

Patient does not completely meet the major depression criteria. I picked it,
because of "2 months history of cognitive changes", tearful appearance, not
functional well to take Insulin.
Diabetic encephalopathy presents itself both mentally and physically. It can

Beta Blocker need to be discontinued for her.
Reason not to use beta blocker:
bronchospasm – use is contraindicated in asthmatics and other lung diseases
heart failure (systolic dysfunction)
may mask insulin-induced hypoglycemia and delay recovery time ( more
pronounced with non-specific beta-blockers)
Her HR is OK though.

Is it alcoholic or non-alcoholic? if alcoholic, then abstine from it. if
non-alcoholic, what's the cause, diabetes, overweight, or others (e.g.
medication-induced, etc.)?
Diet and exercise is the solution to most ppl. Control diabetics (with oral
antidiabetics) should be beneficial if he is diabetic. No drug specifically

That is not a very specific sign for diabetes
Symptoms to look for in diabetes include feeling tired, increased urine
frequency, increased appetite, weight loss, frequent sweating etc.

are concerned about. If your father is asymptomatic, ie no pain, itchiness
, swelling, vision change, isolated redness in conjunctiva is often benign
and heal by itself.
However, you father do need routine eye exam to check the back of his retina
if he hasn't already had one. Diabetic retinopathy and cataracts are
common consequences from diabetes. |

Her diabetes is type II, and is under control now. Is this related to
diabetes? She was diagnosed with diabetes three months ago and was
discharged from hospital a month ago. Stay in hospital for about month.

Not sure exactly what unit is used for A1C, but probably it is mmol/dL. Then
convert to mg/dL, it should be 97.2 mg/dL.
I am pretty sure the glucometer uses mg/dL.

Your LG needs to see a doctor if he has not been diagonsed for diabetes.
This is at least a pre-diabetic condition if not diabetic already, unless
the glucometer is not accurate. |

This 136 could be blood glucose in mg/dL. If this is his fasting glucos, and
happened not only once, then he might be diabetic.
However, it is very difficult to say it for sure. Blood glucose could change
a lot and elevated resutling from many reasons, say after eating, some
medication, or infections...
