故事一
一个小公司，开发组有一个director(总监）是个三哥，手下3个senior engineer(中美
印各一个），每人负责一个项目组，3个兵，都不是manager，可以预见的将来，可能变
成3个manager.
本来相安无事。最近，那个中国senior（实际是个ABC）是个对技术充满热情的人，经
常有些新奇的想法，跳出来向总监提议，想重新设计公司软件的架构，并且自己有些
good idea,所以总监把他单独提出来，做整个开发组的architect，然后把他的手下另
外一个三哥接替他，做小组长。
大家觉得这个中国senior是不是有点自己挖坑把自己埋了？
如果是你，你会做什么职位？喜欢做architect还是一个小组长，将来混个manager。 |

而且，公司里三哥的特点是一旦architect做出了新的项目，在快要见效的前夜，赶紧
派自己人去掺沙子，抢到自己人手里做。
architect这种独行侠的角色，象一颗孤独的树，出了事连个说好话的人都没有。而不
是一个小组长，至少手下有几个匪兵喽罗。 |

每个town的规定差很远呀。
1W尺地， Naperville建个4000尺+车库都没问题。 hinsdale就3500包括车库。
各种要求啥高度， 前院后院的，旁边留地。
连样式都有规定。
你先看了地在考虑这个。 每个architect熟悉的town不同， 还是local的好， 他们认
识人，可以帮你搞定permit。 |

买的，要么找local的mod,要么让网上的architect改好，都可以。
100*100的地，2800sf foundation, 30'高，也能有upto 6000sf多的面积了，很大了，
对于这个地面积，已经绰绰有余了。1w尺的地，3500sf就够了，再大也卖不出价去。

很好）。简历上写着微软architect+SDE，但简单的code写的一塌糊涂，设记的也乱七
八糟，不知道怎么混进微软的。微软之前好像在印度的一个consulting公司工作过，难
道就这样混进来了？ |

你要真想找权威回答，找本software architecture之类的书，也许会告诉你pre-
architeture，考虑人/技术后的各种划分等等。具体到database architecture，可能
人家只是更关心你怎么理解逻辑modeling，physical modeling等等。 |

的产品的很核心的部分，整天都在想将来变成一个技术上的牛人什么的。后来又来这个
architect的, 工资高了一捷，公司也稳定的多，因为我还没绿卡，所以思前想后还是
要了这个，但是感情上总是有点不能接受，总觉的architect在杂事上化的时间精力太
多,像个打杂的。 |

更进一步，这个时候阅读你的简历的人一般是senior manager, director, 他们未必是
搞技术出身，这个证书肯定不会给你减分。
当然了，前提是你要有architect经验，否则的话也没什么用 |
