我觉得很多运动的教练都还没有认识到常规的Strength Training对各种运
动的促进和帮助。我看的一本书,Racing Weight中有个例子,2008年挪威
的几个人在“Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise”发表了一篇
论文,“Maximal strength trainingimproves running economy in
distance running”,研究者找了17个训练有素的跑步选手,一组继续他
们的正常训练,另一组每周增加三次力量练习,用4RM的重量做四组Half
Squat,每组四次,八周以后,这组选手不但力量提高了,Running Economy
提高了5%,在maximal aerobic running speed上的耐力更是提高了21.3%,
而那个对照组则没有任何变化。作者接着问,“How could heavy half-squats
enhance running economy and endurance?”然后猜测说可能是因为力量
练习提高了肌肉和关节能更好地利用地面的反作用力。
可是这样的研究知道的人并不多,所以还是人云亦云地说,要练耐力,就得
小重量多次数。就连这本书的作者,在推荐力量练习的时候,仍然还是Body
Weight和小重量的为主,而且一再地说,跑步的时候要把肌肉都减下去。
类似的研究还是太少了。

书上没说,文章的题目是distance running。我觉得你10-12rep应该不错,
关键是最后两三次要感觉到吃力。
刚才读到Runner's World里说Base Training期间应该一周三次力量练习。
据我自己有限的经验,真正马拉松training期间的确很难找到太多时间练
大重量了,要避开那么多强度大的跑步日子不是很容易的事。所以,Off
season和Base Training的时候比较合适。

I have a girl friend who's been running 5k for some time. She started
CrossFit after I told her how much I love the program. Now the coaches are
telling her that she doesn't need to go back to her routine training to run.
CrossFit is going to help her with running more efficiently than her old
program.
There's another girl in our gym who also comes from a long distance running
background. She said she finds CrossFit is helping her in ways her old
training couldn't.

是这样的,我觉得就像咱们老话说的,功夫在诗外,练CrossFit或者P90X能
全面提高身体素质,比单纯跑步效果肯定好多了。这也是为什么我一直对
CrossFit印象很好的缘故。你要坚持练两年,再和现在的状况比比,就知道
好处了。:)不过就是要小心受伤。
