我打算買一對AKG C214麥克風。我手頭只有一個AKG perception 420,想再買一對
condenser 麥克風，主要考慮AKG C214。我主要錄鋼琴和唱歌
請教板上的朋友
1）買這款麥克風適合我的用途嗎？
2）現在亞馬遜上面單賣一個的話，是300塊，但是買匹配的一對（以後錄立體聲）的話
，會貴不少 （hb要900）。我覺得這樣的麥克風也不算低端了，如果買單獨的兩個，不
會差別太大吧？實際使用中問題大不大？還是多花這個錢買匹配的一對？

In fact, many programs may have openings after July---such as some matched
FMG residents cannot get the VISA in time. Clearing step 3 will be a big
plus for Psych applicants, you are in very good shape!

发帖数: 40 | 11 千万不要放弃，哪怕只有一丝希望！去年有位版友，三月份Unmatched，Scramble
failed, 但在六月底得到Florida 某个program 的offer (someone dropped off due
to VISA or other reason).
作为一个小专业毕业生，我2007年ECFMG报名被拒。和一大批小专业同学们，和ECFMG申
诉，2009年7月终于申诉成功。两年就这么一晃过去了。当初也想过放弃，但最后还是
咬咬牙坚持下来了。今年Matched。所以只要你不放弃，幸运就可能在最后一刻降临在
你头上。
你今天可以痛哭，但把眼泪擦干后，该干什么干什么。Scramble 不行，还有post-
scramble 的机会，不停写信跟PD 套瓷，找一切可想到的connection，作OB。

自己的梦想。
我自己YOG>15，去年申请IM,没有拿到IV.感觉内科非常competitive,对YOG要求严，还
必须有externship。去年底我曾组织了一个“有硬伤的old CMG互助组", 组员非常open
and nice,受益匪浅。后来由于holiday season和我自己私人的原因，没有时间再继续
下去，非常抱歉和遗憾。
我初步有个想法，成立一个unmatched Skype小组（我们都是这么desperate)，主要目
的是更积极充分准备申请和面试。比如：互相无保留交流信息；完善修改PS；
面试问题和回答技巧，口语交流的提高。希望大家互相帮助提高，争取明年match!

。减一下就是了。大部分prematch都是IMG。
3 关于形势的严峻性 还是要看nrmp的官方统计，你就知道多少人申请，多少人unmatch
4 关于哪个科难进 again 官方统计，哪科最后amg fill 的比例高。

They did not report in Medi at all. I am pretty sure that the mean and SD
in matched group are higher than those of the unmatched. Of course, score
is not everything. Someone with score<200 can match with a stroke of luck.
But the vast majority with average scores (<210-220) will end up with
nothing. Of course, it is simply not fair to look at proportions of the

hard to beat the free matching money. even so, the limit for roth is
too little. besides, many people do not qualify for roth anyway.
basically the priority order of putting into your retirement/tax-saving
funds should be: matched 401k contribution, roth (if qualified),
unmatched 401k contribution, other pretax ira (if qualified), others
(e.g. aftertax ira, 529, etc).

2。对每个人(比如说学生X)，先对照rank第一个的program （比如说单位A）.如果单位
A的rank list上有学生X的名字，不管排在哪里，就算配上对了。这个过程暂停。
3。4。如果这个单位根本就没有rank学生X，就顺着X的单子朝下走，直到有单位rank了
X.到此为止暂停。如果单子走完了都没有配上对。X---unmatched
5.轮到学生Y,按照 2。里一样，先对照Y最想去的单位。
6。如果Y 最想去的也是单位A,那就得看单位A把X,和Y 怎么排的。如果 Y 排的比X 高
，Y就算配上对了，X就被踢回去，一切从新开始。
7。 被踢回来的X,重新开始，如果这时A单位还有空位，那暂时又配上对了。
8。如此重复，直到X被match上，或者，X rank list上的所有单位都招满了，X 就是
unmatched.
结论：只要你想去的单位rank了你，不管在那个位置，你总是有一线希望。所以，按照
Harry和其他前辈说的，得按自己的爱好来排。 但是这中间有很大的不确定性, 运气很

preliminary positions. Every year, there are so many preliminary spots went
unmatched.
However, this dose not mean that IMGs have a good shot in this specialty.
Actually, many programs meant to leave these positions for unmatched AMGs to
scramble in. They do not interview candidates for these positons! This is
why there are just a few IMGs got in, if you look into the statistical data
carefully. |

Chart 15 , 128 matched last year, 252 unmatched. Match rate was about 33%.
Probably a few prematched not included but far more had no IV, therefore,
not included in unmatched.
45 in IM, 40 in pathology. Match rate is lower than Indian and Pakistan
graduates. A lot good information here and may help you to guide your study
and application. |
