没有 :) 所以只能从自家后院渗下去
其实 降水合适的地区 都不用storm sewer 降雨就地渗透这样比较合理一点
storm sewer只适合降雨过多或者过少的地方 比如 德州干 下那点雨都给接到水库
里充公了：）drought期间还要专门往地基周围浇水 防止土太干以致离开地基 |

我们就算不用水，一个月还40多呢，包含1K gal水和垃圾啊什么的。
我们第一个月用了7.6K，交了70多，这么看就不算太多了。
我觉得最不合理的是sewer。我们家80-90%的水都用来抗旱保lawn了，
根本就没产生多少污水，还要收sewer。

usually, it's protected from critters/fallen leaves, open-end is risky, the
debris might clog your sewer.
Instead, any exhaust vent must be weather-proof, so, I figure they are those

possible. Starting from there, it would only get better, not worse.
Sure, LZ probably would have to snake the sewer line from time to time. But
that sounds like much less trouble than replacing the whole sewer. |

pipe.从public sewer gate进入，前进大约4～5米处，snake就无法再前进了。

两个表，每个quarter固定收16.93 x 2。
sewer每个quarter固定收$14.30。
反正就是什么都不用每个quarter也要差不多50块。 |

那个private sewer有寿命的，最多好像是30年，看家里具体使用情况。换的价钱和
private sewer的容量有关，大概2-3万多吧。买了private sewer的房子就像击鼓传花
游戏，传到谁手里需要换了，就自认倒霉吧。如果系统比较新的话，你就不用担心，估
计在你手里还不用换。比较老的系统的话，出价的时候把这个考虑进去。 |

发电机3000W不够用 一般家庭最好是 5000W
才能 抽水 煮饭插小冷气/暖气和电冰箱
买了发电机要做好准备 发电机也不是开了就能用
平常时候 一年两次要启动检查
要准备好插电用的延长线 还要看好发电机摆在哪里
不能摆在家里 不然会一氧化碳中毒

Plano的sewer是Winter Quarter Averaging Program
每年冬季12月到3月的用水量取平均，（还取最近三年的平均，我觉得那是很遥远的事
，呵呵）
就是一整年的sewer的水量。
对于新住户，采用的是city的平均值9.3K gal，
我估计我们家4K就够了。（我也是今年的新住户）
到明年每月sewer还能少$20（$4.26/1K gal）
所以大家冬天要节约用水啊！
ps：夏天家里用水几乎可以忽略不计了，当然保持节水习惯是好事：） |

发帖数: 6 | 44 我想都不是你们说的那些。有个ID发email回答了我，我觉得他是对的，谢谢。跟我的猜
想吻合。所以实际上还是通 sewer的，当sewer堵了的话，会把盖子打开，拿什么工具进
去通。我家的garage和front yard是一前一后的，所以有两个clean outs，看通哪个更解
决问题吧。而且光看直径与superintendent指给我看的厨房sink下的drainage管一样粗，
颜色也是一样的(black)，跟三个toilet那地方的盖子一样大，以后他们就在那些地方装
个toilet就好了，跟laundry room里通washer的drainage一样粗，一个颜色(black)。而
且从clean outs的名字看，应该也是那个意思了。
大家可以看看你们家有没有。差不多是12cm左右的铜盖子，应该是和一楼地面平的。拧开
铜盖子里面应该是黑盖子，拧开黑盖子，里面就是管子了。
我们这个builder是有史以来第一次搞open wall walk through.我会周末去划几个明细图
再拍照存档。然后他们就要关墙了。

不是裝了SUMP PUMP 就可以避免地下室潮濕
如果蓋房子的時候 沒有做好排水工程 裝了SUMP PUMP
也是發揮不了功效
房子的排水工程 包括很多部分 像是 GUTTER FOR ROOF DRAIN
DRAIN TILE 的安裝 房子週邊的高程差等
目的就是要把水導向遠離房子的方向 這樣地下室才不會淹水
房子在建設的時候 在地下室的基礎底下 應該有一層砂礫層
並且安裝DRAIN TILE以後 再舖灌地下室
DRAIN TILE 一般會連接到房子週邊的土地部分 並且導向SUMP WELL
SUMP WELL 一定是整個房子最低窪的地方 所以土壤滲水才會依靠重力
通通被SUMP WELL 收集起來 SUMP PUMP就是把這些水打向其他地方的苦力
SUMP PUMP 把水從房子的最低點吸起來 打向遠離房子的排水低點
在有鋪設下水道的城鎮 SUMP PUMP的出口 一般都是接到下水道
下水道有兩種 污水下水道(Sanitary sewer) 和雨水下水道(Strom Sewer)
污水下水道接到污水處理場 雨水下水道一般就是直接排 |

But man, we are getting much environment friendly. In 70s, we dumped so much
chemicals into sewer, all the animals there mutated. Five-legged frogs, two
-headed snakes, soft-skinned crocodile, you name it!
