我仨娃, 生小三时我38, 她姐姐8岁, 哥哥5岁, 等三儿大学毕业LG也快六十了. GP还有
很多人不理解, 不是有儿有女了吗? 以下几点仅供考虑.
1. 我全职上班, 和LG一起供房供娃供车. 添个娃不一定对事业有打击. 虽然升职慢,
但工作稳定. 自己prioritize自己的时间, 八小时之内尽量多干, 有时候不一定要干得
时间最长 关键是结果. 仨娃之后和同事们聊天多很多话题(我们组另有一仨娃妈, 一仨
娃爸和倆资深四娃爸), 利于拉近距离.
2. 为啥要生仨. 作为第一代移民, 在这里只和LG相依为命, 两个人困难的时候全靠自
己, 在这里举目无亲. 我羡慕老美同事们到了假日就一大家人其乐融融, 一家兄弟姐妹
住一条街上, 一家几个男的都在这一带工作. 我每次产检都自己去(因为LG想留假陪我
做月子), 碰到好几次一位越南妈妈每次都是她妹妹陪着来. 另一同事四处发他侄儿的
简历说他们哥儿几个都在为这小伙子忙活. 老毛说了人多力量大啊. 我们在这里是少数
民族, 我不能让我女儿在我死后没个娘家人, 血浓于水,亲人和朋友是不一样的.

把piano放到孩子生活的这个big picture里面去看
让孩子自己prioritize自己的兴趣爱好学业
然后做取舍
偶个人认为，只有孩子很肯定piano/music is my life 的时候
才值得放弃别的东西，把业余时间都放在piano/music上
还有，你们可能还需要跟孩子谈谈心

不是姐妹是哥们。
大家处理一件小事如果方法不当，带来的secondary damage (or collateral damage)
远远超过了本来的damage，这才是最亏的，说什么好的出发点、好的用心都是扯淡。
如果同意这一点prioritization，其它都好说。 如果不同意，只好接受一地鸡毛。 所
以这个prioritization是分水岭，在别的问题上也适用。
primary damage是一个尿布就能解决的，具体原因可以慢慢来找。 secondary damage
本来就该是0。 zero。none。 nothing。 nicht。

了。
这个说法很武断，但我不跟你辩论这个 :)
你说了这么多孩子爸爸的特点，我听起来都挺好、挺容易理解的 －－ 人各不同嘛。但
是，为什么不是爸爸和妈妈接受爸爸这个性格带来的后果（孩子本能的不喜欢爸爸的一
些表现：“约束”，“无趣”，“木讷”。。。），而是要让孩子假装喜欢自己不喜欢
的行为呢？
这就是个异常简单的priority的问题。难道大人不能理解，孩子即使这么说了，也不是
不爱爸爸（这其实是肯定的），而是非要反过来让三岁的孩子理解爸爸即使表面那么差
，其实也不是不爱宝宝？
这世上，到底是聪明的能理解笨的、成熟的能理解不成熟的，还是反过来呢？ 爸爸理
解不了三岁孩子，所以要三岁孩子学会看长远人生、理解爸爸？
教给三岁小娃，爸爸这样也是爱你的，不就完了？ 教给三岁小娃，每个人的性格不同
，不就完了？ 如果爸爸心灵受伤需要安慰，就先揍这个爸爸一顿耳光 －－ NMD傻冒啊

我的感觉，其实工作的妈妈们有一点多少是相似的，在时间上属于穷人，只是程度不同
而已。我上班比楼主mm轻松，孩子也少，然而即使这样有时候也觉得时间不够。看了这
个帖子以后忽然意识到，我对时间的态度和美国人花钱的态度非常像，也就是说，一有
富余就迫不及待地浪费掉再说…… 然后忙的时候就傻眼了，再prioritize也不免有所
损失。:-P 如果能以我们中国人对待钱的谨慎态度对待时间，像楼主mm那样认真计划和
prioritize, 很可能工作和带娃都会有所进步。
另外就是效率的问题，最好的情况应该是花时间培养孩子自立和独立解决问题的能力，
这一点培养好了，家长需要手把手做的事就会越来越少，孩子也越来越有自信，是双赢
的局面。花很多时间去管理孩子的每一个细节（a.k.a. micro management)对孩子实际
上未必有益。楼主mm时间很少但是讲究效率，基本上是抓大放小。我们普通妈妈也可以
看看有没有可以改变花费时间的方式，提高效率的地方。:-)

我找老板prioritize我的工作，大概有两到三次，他开始说我独立性不够，不知道什么
重要什么不重要。
他让我和组里另外一个资深的员工讨论工作，那个员工很干脆地说，干不完告诉别人就
行。
于是，有一次干不完，我把另一个组里一个同事让我做的事往后推，那个人告到我的老
板这里。老板就批评我做事情效率低、不知道如何prioritize。然后，我就又加班把活
给干了。
然后，最近年终review，他以这个理由给我很低的分数。扣了我的奖金。就是上面那个
事情。我很委屈，因为他和我讲后，我已经把活干完了。
另外，我的老板是老印，我们组里没有老印的，大多数都是白人，告状的也是白人。不
知道这是不是原因。我实在实在太伤心了。
另外，版上也有人说，别接垃圾项目，我也不想，但是每次，他都把最垃圾的项目给我
，没有讨价还价的空间。
我才进公司7个月，不知道是不是应该跳槽。跳槽的话，这个时间太短了。不跳的话，
实在没有上升的空间。 |
