Marketing Data Analyst
Position Summary
This person will be a part of Corporate Marketing Advanced Analytics team
and will be responsible for supporting day-to -day functionalities of the
team. The Advanced Analytics team builds and maintains all facets of
Marketing Analytics tools including predictive models, marketing
optimization and prioritization algorithms, and customer segmentation
schemes.
This senior-level individual contributor will help guide the Bank’s
marketing analytics strategy while producing analytics output. This
individual will develop and maintain predictive models, analyze marketing
campaign performance, track key business metrics, and provide insights
through ad hoc customer analysis.
Position Accountabilities
• Support building predictive models and upgrading existing models
for optimizing marketing programs – models to be developed using both
summarized and transactional data
• Support segmentation algorithms for marketing and sales
personalization
• Explore customer data to draw insights into market analysis and
developing recommendations on De Novo placement
• Work with Campaign Management team to select customers and
prospects for campaign inclusion
• Track campaigns and develop campaign performance and ROI analysis
. Based on the results of the analysis, make recommendations on future
campaigns to improve targeting
• Generate reports, charts, tables, graphs, maps and other visual
aids to effectively communicate the results of the analytical research
• Develop and maintain validation rules and documentation on work
product. Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Six or more years of marketing analytics in relational database
environment
• Excellent analytical and statistical skills, outstanding problem
solving abilities and experience synthesizing various data sources
• Must have the ability to work independently and be a team player
who is able to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively
interact with diverse teams of people
• Ability to deal with a fast paced environment with changing work
priorities and be capable of handling multiple mission-critical projects
simultaneously without sacrificing quality or impacting deadlines
• Able to identify patterns and “tell a story” from analysis
• Excellent presentation and writing skills are a must
• Advanced use of SQL, SPSS, Excel and PowerPoint a must
• Experience using Microstrategy preferred
• Bachelor degree in business, economics, mathematics, sciences or
other related disciplines; Master’s degree preferred |
