Hyperion Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Ensure high availability, optimum performance, and assured
security of the Oracle Fusion r11 Enterprise Performance Management
environments. Perform code migration in accordance with established change
management processes
• Enforce version control and change management processes to
support internal and external audit requirements
• Participate in technical interchange meetings
• Adhere to contribute to and enforce development standards
• Work with the development teams to optimize ongoing performance
• Proactively monitor and report on system performance
• Provide trend analysis to enable informed decision regarding
capacity planning and optimization strategies
• Escalate issues to development teams, other support organizations
and third parties as appropriate.
• Manage improvement and maintenance of the supported platform to
include patches and upgrades inside limited maintenance windows which may
include weekends
• Perform administration activities including backup and recovery
• Contribute to development projects by providing operational and
environmental requirements
• Design the architecture and build out the physical environments
to support all application development efforts
• Participate in and/or lead production troubleshooting, testing,
optimization, performance tuning, and process automation efforts
• Participate in and/or lead technical planning, architecture
sizing, and testing activities
• Participate in code reviews and ensure systems implementations
occur in accordance with established procedures.
• Responsible for implementation and release of changes as
submitted by the development team
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience in Oracle System 9 or newer EPM
administration including installation, configuration, optimization, and
maintenance of Essbase, Administration Services, Integration Services,
Planning, Financial Reporting, Interactive Reporting, Web Analysis,
Production Reporting, and OBIEE
• Troubleshoot and maintain systems
• 1+ year experience with automated job scheduling preferably ESPx
• 1+ year experience with version control software preferably
Subversion
• Experience with both native security and Shared Services security
• Strong understanding of Linux Redhat 5.0 including user and group
security
• Strong experience in WebLogic
• 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
equivalent
• Working knowledge of networks
• Working knowledge of Linux OS
• Working knowledge of software version control concepts and change
management processes
• Working knowledge of ETL processes
• Working knowledge of data modeling concepts both relational and
dimensional
• Working knowledge of UNIX shell scripting
• Working knowledge Hyperion EPM infrastructure
• Working knowledge of automated job scheduling
• Experience with Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office productivity tools
• Understanding of authentication and authorization security
concepts
• Understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
(SDLC)
• Demonstrated expertise in change management and version control
practices

· 6+ yrs of configuration management experience.
· Candidate should be well versed in Oracle suit 10g installation,
administration, packaging and deployment.
· Strong experience in Weblogic is a must.
· The candidate should have implemented at least 2 enterprise web
applications developed on SOA Suite/ADF/Webcenter suite
· Must be a team player and have good communications skills
