一 首北京奥运会前传开的名为《你们究竟要我们怎样生存？》的诗如今又在中文网上
热传，被一些人称作反映了海外华人反对西方偏见的心声。该诗作者不详，却被不 少
网民和中文媒体误传，安到了美国纽约州立大学退休教授林多梁或者"林良多"头上。林
多梁教授告诉美国之音，这首诗不是他写的，他反对诗中的仇恨情绪，对 有些相关评
论中的仇美情绪也不以为然。
这首诗的英文名字是(What Do You Really Want from Us)比较长，其中有几句是"当我
们推行马列救国时，你们痛恨我们信仰共产主义；当我们实行市场经济时，你们又嫉妒

诗歌，比如五言，七律，本来就是中国的东西，外国没有，把poem强行
翻译成诗歌其实是硬派。实际上英文里没有对应的东西。
我中文诗歌读过一些，我读过李白的“床前明月光”后觉得用英文是万万
写不出诗歌的。请指正。 |

律，本来就是中国的东西。这个翻译是硬派。
竟还有人觉得我认为钢琴弹不了弹吉它曲，我的比喻是指效果上的，灌水不是条件反射。
提个gatsby也能想到是现？我没这么想过，这个似乎是普及读物，不过这个水准高没有
疑问吧。

Similarly, I can find many poems focusing on contemplating different
historical periods other than sanguo.
You'd have to show sanguo is statistically enriched than other periods
instead of providing a single example.
True that 苏轼 is one of the best poets across history, probably making this
piece of work better known. |

英国 Will Durant 写的名著《世界文明史》的第一卷《Our oriental heritage 》。
从名字看就是明显的西方中心。写于上世纪初期，其中对中国的描写还不错。我发现，
从16世纪到20世纪初期，凡是对东方有一点了解的，基本都是对中国观感不错。
