Poem.
Hearts, Hearts.
As pretty as can be.
Ms. Pierre said, this is not too short, this is

The Academy of American Poets于1996年

Pain has an element of blank
Emily Dickinson
Pain has an element of blank;
It cannot recollect

It has no future but itself,
Its infinite realms contain
Its past, enlightened to perceive
New periods of pain.

gentleman is, rather than does”,大意是说:君子是实为君子,而不是行为成一个
君子。我们是不是也可以这么说:a poet is, rather than does?

A Poem by Duo-Liang Lin
Below is a poem said to have been composed by Duo-Liang Lin, Ph. D.,
Professor Emeritus of Physics, University at Buffalo, State University of
New York and published by Washington Post. Since this poem has been posted
to many forums, I think it is OK for me to post it here without violating
copyright.
I must say that I agree with what is said. The Americans are simply out to
demonize the Chinese. Also the Americans find the Chinese a convenient
scapegoat to take the blame...
