其实根本不影响投资者的总收益,看大牛的解释,dividend 的好处应该是保证了一定
的现金流 (如果选择现金dividend的话),或者增持了股份,因此增大了在公司的话
语权。但对于我们小散户来说,那点点股权对公司决策根本没影响吧,而且除非持股10
年20年,也需要不太在意dividend带来的现金流。难道 dividend 对小散户来说只有
tax 上的意义? |

,现在可以把这100万继续投入扩大厂房和设备,也可以100万里面拿出40万分红,余下
的60万继续投入。如果是前者,一旦经济危机来了很可能挣的100万打了水漂;如果是
后者,即使经济危机来了至少还能享受到分红的40万。高dividend的value公司其实就
是后者,一定程度上规避了风险,但是增长性肯定不如全额投入的growth公司来得快。
当然,实际上value stock和growth stock的界限不是绝对清晰的。因为即使是高额
dividend的公司为了维护当前业务以及适当拓展一些项目也会保留一定额度的盈利现金
作为业务发展之用,没有任何一家公司会把所有盈利全部分红分掉。“具体分掉多少
dividend(或者不分?)才是最优化的?”这个是萝卜青菜各有所爱的问题。最后,关

Some dividends may be reported as qualified dividends in box 1b of Form 1099
-DIV but are not qualified dividends.

this make sense, cause this part is caculated by the fixed interest rate of

今天登录citi账户之后,发现已经如约转成Dividend了,还退了$87.07的年费
所以算总账的话,我白薅了2000个点和87块钱,不错…… |

to hold for 3 months to get dividend. The ex-dividend date is May 24th, and
record date is May 26th.
According to what I found here:
http://www.sec.gov/answers/dividen.htm , as long as investor purchased before ex-dividend date, he should be able to get dividend.

那它的dividend多少以上,明天会看到option strike被重新定了?
比如原来的option strike定在 $10, $12.5 , $15 etc,
今天有$1 dividend, 明天的option strike会不会变成 $9, $11.5, $14.5?
另外,今天msft会注册dividend, 因为数额较小,16c, 那么明天option
strike肯定不会变,但是 aug 19 25c 会不会从今天收盘的 51c 变成明天开盘
的35c, 明早股价开盘价跌16c? |
