before the ex-dividend date, you get the dividend.
请问是必须在ex-dividend date 那天持有么？ 还是只要在那天前有过交易就 OK?
算dividend的share number 是什么时候的？

发帖数: 1519 | 2 If you buy the shares one day before ex-dividend day, your trade will settle
by the record date, and you'll be entitled to the dividend.
Or, you can save the trouble if this is too confusing to you, because when
the new owners are not entitled to the dividend, market actually discounts
that, and the price will drop by the dividend amount. Well, not exactly the
same mount, as fluctuations are always there whenever trading activities
occur. But hopefully you get the idea.
IMO, chasing dividend is an indication that the market participants don't
understand where the dividend comes from and don't understand the tax
consequence either. |
