smash, because the skirt deforms and isn't as effective as feather to create
air drag to slow it down. The flight is also different from feather for
clear.
As for touch at the net, I don't know whether real cork plastics have a
better feel. Tumbling net drop is near impossible with plastics. |

applied to the material until it breaks (or permanently deforms), right?
but for a bike frame, most of the force is in the vertical direction (
compression force from road vibration) and in the form of lateral torque (from the pedaling force applied to the BB). there seems to be little tensile load applied to the material, so why does the tensile strength matter so much? |

Grand Peterson once wrote in this newsletter that carbon frames can't be
more comfortable than steel one because CF is stiff. He think the comfort of
the frame is only from its deformation to absorb energy.

two problems with carbon fiber as of now. one, it's not scratch resistant.
while ti and steel will deform before they break, carbon fiber will break in
a more violent manner once a stress riser is created. two, it doesn't take
compression load nearly as well as tensile load. mavic's carbon spokes on
their top end wheels were just the latest victims. |

off the teeth or the freehub slipping when it should be engaged? in other
words, when you are pedaling, is there relative motion between the chain and
the cassette, or between the freehub and the rear hub shell? nail down the
cause before you drop down the coin.
again, it's highly unlikely that with less than 2k miles you can deform the
cassette teeth to the point of slipping. it takes many stretched chains to

Here's how to do it. Snug the rifle in a rifle cradle. If you don't have
a cradle, get one.
Swab the receiver and mount or ring bases with gun-cleaning solvent to
remove grease, grit and fingerprints. Follow with a dry cloth, then a
silicone-impregnated rag.
Put base screws in a coffee saucer. If you don't, you'll lose one or
more. Guaranteed.

is close to the maximum, with 175GR bullet, you may compress the powder to
the case. It happened to me once that the pressure from compressed load is
