我是连续4年获得爱心奖学金（99～02），她对我的帮助
非常大，主要解决了我大学期间的生活开支，我衷心地感
谢海外校友基金会的无私帮助，也希望早日有机会、有能力
可以反过来帮助科大的师弟师妹。另外，我对爱心奖有一
点建议：我本人由于成绩尚可，获得爱心奖的同时也有获
其它奖学金，所以有了这些奖学金后可能会有所富余，所
以我想基金会可以对每位获奖者多做了解，从家庭、生活、
学习等多方面考虑申请因素，把有限的资金作最合理的分配，
发挥她的最大作用。最后，祝校友基金会越办越好！各位

好处，还有就是要middle project以上的才collaborate
subcontractor这个事好像NSF不管,这是awardee和subconstractor之间事
区别就是collaborator应该属于awardee,但是subcontractor不是

少相对比例高。

I found 350+ awardees out of 562 without any help
from USTC. Honestly, I am proud to dig out so much
infor. Even for tens of awardees in campus,
I found them myself, USTC gave me nothing.
Nothing alone can demonstrate the success
of Guo Moruo scholarhsip recipients.
We may come out a list of alumni in industry
soon.
Also it is quite normal to have some mistakes.

NIH 年底批准了230万美元，由Beaumont医院（美国最大的私立医院之一）)牵头，在美
国几个主要医学院多中心推广研究肖氏反射弧（somatic-autonomic reflex arc）肖氏
手术。NIH已决定由哈佛大学医学院建立DATA Base，收集处理多中心肖氏反射弧手术资
料。
向NIH要求参加该计划的大学太多，在平衡协调上伤透脑筋。我当然希望多多益善，但
经费有限。目前基本选定东海岸哥伦比亚大学医学院，哈佛大学医学院，华盛顿大学（

9月11日，北京大学-IDG/麦戈文脑研究所教授饶毅致美国国立卫生院（NIH）的信在生
物医学界刷屏了，这封洋洋洒洒三千余字的信《饶毅致信美国科技官员：科学家应该有
脊梁》（全文附后）向NIH致以了强烈反击，随后朋友圈开始刷屏。
一开始端端酱看到这内容也一头雾水，不少华人科学家陷入恐慌，担心今后国际研究受
阻。且慢，我们不妨来捋捋这件事。相信大部分人在转发饶教授的回应时并不会先看原
文，所以不知道到底发生了什么，但大量情绪渲染的文字并不利于问题的了解和解决。
所以端端酱想和大家一起看一遍NIH的原文，之后大家可以再对照饶毅教授的信看看，
想想疯狂转发那篇《脊梁》是不是有些盲目？毕竟没人现在知道FBI确切拿到了哪些证
据，又是哪些机构涉嫌其中呢。

发帖数: 25 | 31 没听说有什么硬性规定。每个所都不一样吧，可以查查你感兴趣所的awardee。
我不是什么faculty，但是听过ＮＩＨ的人关于Ｋ99做的讲座。他们注重的是申请人的
整体package，track of training
record。所以publication不好，其它方面好也可以；publication再好，也不一定能中。
我个人的感觉是：现在funding和faculty job都很难找，很多人才特别是foreigner流
失了；ＮＩＨ想留住好的人才，所以
才有Ｋ99，让优秀人才直接上位变得容易些。但是目前为止，申请的人不多（远远没有
ＮＩＨ想要的那么多），直接导致
水平一般的也有相当大的机会。楼上有人说成功率大于30％就是好的说明。
想申请的要尽快，以后申请的人只能越来越多。
还有一点是：第一次申请Ｒ01算new investigator，能加分的。拿到Ｋ99后申请Ｒ01还
是算new investigator，也同样
加分。Ｋ99后3年的钱跟Ｒ01可是一样的！！所以是赚大发了！ |

folks compete together. lots of fellows, NAEs are in this pool.
but career awardees got a lot of hypes and publicity. quite a few sr folks
said (to others) that they couldn't believe i didn't get career since they
thought i wrote good proposals and papers. i know politics play. i didn't
graduate from a big prof or so.
anyway, i got $1.5M in 5 years and got tenured without much trouble. i guess

但是有名字不同的同样序列的National Young Investigator
和 Presidential Young Investigator awards。
基本是还是这些以前的awardee和senior person来panel的。
一般的ap还是基本去不了这些panel的。 |
