我现在在一所排名五十左右的学校做理工科AP，第二年了还没有拿到funding，所以非
常着急。第一年建设实验室基本上什么也没做成。现在终于开始正常的工作。写
proposal, 设计新的实验，指导学生，教一门新的课课要花很多时间，有时每天花上
12 到 14 个小时在工作上是很平常。老婆在公司上班，很忙但是还能难对付。我们现
在有两个小孩，老婆每天接送，周末也是老婆在照顾他们，我们都没有时间做饭，请一
个阿姨专门给我们做饭。
现在的问题是老婆突发奇想要读一个accounting博士学位，再找faculty position. 我
听了以后眼镜都差点吓掉下来。而且她有这个想法的原因之一更是是让我无法理解：为
了更好地照顾家庭！（原因之二是公司boring, 她觉得做研究更合适）.
她说 accounting PhD 的课很容易，因为她有很好的基础，所以她会有更多的时间来

首先你人最好在纽约或者波士顿地区，在申请Fund的时候已经有了绿卡或EAD卡，不需
要H1B sponsorship。好的投资公司是不会考虑sponsorship 的。在这里我也想对打算
读Master of Accounting的同学说一句，选学校的时候，最重要的是要去大城市，什么
学校的好坏，专业的排名都是虚的，BIG 4 的campus 招人都是就近原则，谁还高兴跑
到外州的学校去？！ 纽约的好几个很一般的学校每年都有大批的人进BIG 4,因为需求
太大机会多啊。
其次最好有一些和Financial Services 相关的经验，例如在某个BIG 4 做Financial
Service Group（FSG）的Auditing or Tax。如果你做的是普通行业的auditing or tax
，可以先内部transfer 到FSG。最近NYC 地区的BIG 4 的FSG 的turn over 很高，有很
多opening, 内部transfer应该不难。在FSG 混1～2年就可以跳到FUND 里做了。

If you set up "self-funding", by linking your brokerage account with mysmart
cash account, it will sell mmf in your brokerage account to supply mysmart
cash account if needed.
No difference. You can buy eft from mysmart account. Personally, I keep two
accounts just to separate my investment and my everyday money pool, so I can

本身是用来交易股票
也可以给个debit card,几张支票什么的
这个brokerage account本身是要每个月交费用的
但是以前schwab有信用卡
只要办了这个信用卡就可以免brokerage account的月费
但是现在schwab不再有信用卡业务了
所以说不知道现在开这个你所谓的checking account也就是brokerage account要不要

今天莫名其妙的收到chase的信，说他们现在必须跟我终止客户关系
也就是说我的checking account会被close，而且无法终生无法恢复（whole life）
落款是chase loss prevention,真是搞不懂，我的账户都用了好多年了
有人遇到过这样的情况吗？如何waive掉这个？
打了一圈客服电话，第一个说是上个月我提取了7000块，我自己的钱为啥不能取了？
第二个说没有理由，这是他们银行的权利。
第三个说让我去branch，找personal banker
有懂行的，或者成功解决这个问题的兄弟现身说说我该怎么办？

另外楼上说的对，你link不上是因为你当前的online account，创建伊始就是personal
account，而personal account是不允许加入businss account，但反过来可以。所以
你需要重新创建一个online Business account，然后反过来加personal cards。
你当前的account并不会被关闭（但估计你也不会用了），但也不能从personal
convert成 business，必须重新申请。 |

1. Link Real Bank and Serve Direct Deposit to Amazon Payments (both routing
and checking number)
2. Wait a few days 1-7 days for the 2 test deposits for both accounts to go
through to verify.
3. deposit 502 US Dollars into Amazon Payments account from real bank
4. withdraw 251 (I added 1 dollar to be safe) to serve account
5. wait until 251 clears and shows up on serve account
