我一直把我的收入放在joint account中，我只有joint account，但老婆还有自己独立

我们结婚快两年了，一直相处得挺好，最近老婆找到了工作，本来是好事，但为了bank
account却有了矛盾。
我一直把我的收入放在joint account中，我只有joint account，但老婆还有自己独立
的account，原来她一直是学生，所以她自己的钱就一直放在那个account中，我无所谓
，因为考虑到万一我们的joint account出了问题，也好有个急用。所以一直相安无事。
最近因为买了房子，又买了车，再加上买各种家具什么的，开销大了，另外她正好开始
工作，所以我觉得她仍然可以保留那个自己的account，但只是留着那些钱以备不时之
需，主要的收入还是应该放在 joint account 里一起开销，共同支付各种费用，这样
最简单，最方便，不用再区分你的我的，一家人本来就是在一起日子。
但没想到她坚决不同意，说她自己钱应该自己安排，否则就没有安全感，这让我很受伤

Fidelity的brokerage account的附连的core position “is where the money in
your account is held until you invest it.”
这个里面有个，比如Fidelity Government Money Market Fund (SPAXX)，手续费
annual 0.42%。效益非常低，比如2011年,return is 0.01%。
我有个问题是：
如果股市不好，想把brokerage account的投资挪到saving account，比如Ally （另外
一家银行），需要怎么操作？
Fidelity的brokerage account -> Fidelity core position -> Ally saving account
?
那么Fidelity为什么设计个core position呢？它家不是有Cash Management Account吗？
