Some tips I took from this video are(there are a lot more):
1.Warm-up before run is always needed. Starting running slow counts.
2.Try standing or stretching in some "odd" or "strange" positions when
doing warm-up (walking on heels and/or tiptoes, bending side ways, standing
with crossed legs, etc). It helps strengthening some very important tissues
or muscles which are crucial to running but won't get enough exercises from
merely running.
3.Stop if any pain occurs, especially repeated.
4.Running on bare foot or with no-support shoes at times helps building foot
muscles which may have long been "spoiled" by conformable support shoes.
5.No evidence that running will develop arthritis 20 years later. But
running will aggravate arthritis if you already have it. |
