我跑马拉松之前,骑车很多的时候,曾经有一次骑车回家称出了137lbs的记录,当然那
是脱水作弊的。
训练马拉松以后,不知不觉就体重上去了,一度接近150lbs。
最近几个个礼拜我跑步的迈数是 12, 24,我的体重大约是147左右,这个礼拜我下决
心开始恢复跑
步,到今天跑了 40 迈, 骑车34迈,结果体重今天居然到了 151 lbs。
我称体重都是一样的环境:早上起床一起就绪还没有吃饭的时候称的,所以没有其他的
波动干扰。
我的感觉是,跑多了,胃口好,吃的更多,往往超过消耗的能量,所以,节食是王道啊
。怪不得
runners world 里面一半都是我讨厌的食谱啥的,其实还是有道理的。

I'm currently reading the book "racing weight", in order to seriously
control my diet for racing. A basic principle is that, don't eat if you are
not hungry. Only eat when you are ready to eat. And don't eat till you are
full and can't stuff any more. Eat until you are no longer hungry, and then
stop. And of course, sweets and refined carbs and fried food are absolutely
banned.

Those advices are not easy to follow, for instance, when you are back
from
a long run or long ride, you feel hungry for sure. But it is hard to
know
when you are no longer hungry, at least for me :)
An easy way to reduce my weight, which I used years ago from 185 lbs to
160 lbs, is simply skipping my dinner, at most just a yogurt. It's not
healthy but

you are right, it is more important to have a constant conscience of
eating healthy and with constraints.
Sometimes, we just think, well, we earn our right to eat at will by
running xxx mpw, and that mentality is just misleading.

Well, when I don't have a race coming up, I'd enjoy all kinds of food. But
when the race is on the line, especially that I'm so close to my goal, food
is the least I could sacrifice. It's a basic discipline of a runner, the
same way as how you discipline yourself to do an interval or tempo run.

AM好像说跑步初期blood volume increase, maybe more than fat burn.不过老狼一直
骑车,不应该是这个原因。看来还是要控制别吃多了

我以前减肥的时候是不吃米饭的, 有时候中午就吃个苹果。。等体重下来以后基本就不
禁食了, 俄了就吃, 吃到饱, 体重也一直比较稳定。。。而且开始跑步以后, 对大
太油腻的东西有点自然抵触感, 做饭买菜的时候也会自然的加大素菜的量, 以及控制
肉量。。。当然时不时的腐败还是少不了的, 我记得有期RW讲过这个, 只要你控制住
饮食热量总量, 不管你吃什么, 都不会有问题。。。

我训练马拉松的时候就完全不骑车。骑车也是最近才恢复的

最好给出一天的菜谱,分为训练中,和比赛前
别的咱跟不上趟,学怎么吃还是很有天赋的,要不也不至于要减肥啊,哈哈

就是我吃太快了!!根本不给肚子反应时间
我曾有过3分钟消灭一大盆7食堂新出炉的炒饭的记录。

I don't know how this can happen to some people, anytime I run more than
35mpw, I had to eat one extra meal per day so my weight wouldn't go down.

Now even when I run 50 miles per week I still need to control what I eat, otherwise I will gain weight. Recently
I had 5 consecutive 50+ mile weeks -- the result is that I gained about 2 or 3 pounds.
Your body adapts to the higher mileage and becomes more efficient in running, burning less calories.

俺其实每次LR完都不想吃东西, 都是强迫自己吃点点。。。仔细想想也不是,

I rarely cook (unless you count making peanut butter sandwich as cooking),
so I don't have recipes. When I eat
at home I'm often practically a vegan, since my wife is vegetarian and I don
't eat dairy before a run. But I can
make a rough list of food according to the level of indulgence allowed. On a
scale of 0 to 10, 0 means that you
can eat as much as you want, and 10 means that you should not eat any at all
. I'm rating the food based on
the need for a runner, not based on trying to losing we

阿?可能是在欧洲原料很容易买到吧,我觉得好便宜

跑完先喝足水。吃时conscious eating, 问自己饱没有,慢慢吃。 晚饭有所控制,吃
低GI食物。whx 的list 很有代表。

your guys get through eating? 75miles took about 0.75*140( a rough guess of
the weight-:P)*75=7875!!!
In fact after today's 18 miles, I lost 3lb when I came home even after the
32oz gatorade and the big bagel. I have kept on eating and not sure what is
going to happen tomorrow...-:)

其实脱的主要是水, 消耗3500卡路里才减掉1磅脂肪。。。1个大皮萨就有将近2000卡,
很容易就吃回来的 :)

If being a vegetarian optimizes my performance then I would. But that isn't

Both are ultra athletes. A 100 miler or an ironman is very different from a
marathon.
Also, my body type is very different. I have a thicker frame and much thicker legs than these guys. I need
more muscle strength to carry my weight. I would look up to athletes with higher BMI such as Lance
Armstrong and Dean Karnazes. In fact, Lance Armstrong's height and weight are very close to mine.

I can't stand the europian style of eating. I was in Paris recently and went
out with friends for "dinner". So we
drank beer till after 10pm. Finally I couldn't help but asked, "are we gonna
get some real food?" Most of them
were like, "no I don't really feel like eating tonight." Except one indian
guy, who took a cheese sandwich out of
his bag and started eating it... Similarly, when I was in Belgium, the "

大部分人都是在做enviromental factor
其实psychological才是对美国人群最关键的问题
都不拿来当utility,拿来当exercise or recreation

嗨!深有同感!
我早就有了能帮我吃的人也还一直不敢学baking,因为自己没有自制力。
还有就是领导很热爱并且很会baking,老是惦记着实践,为了保持我一贯支持他的个人
爱好的形象,我只好把工具配料到处藏,常常他买回来就再找不到了,有时候他很生气
,因为一切就绪就发现什么和什么找不到,然后就出去现买,这种时候,就是我悲剧增
肥的时刻了。。。一般第二天我立马打包带去公司和同事们一起分享:)
