，准备开始去weight room晃悠。
之前看很多很瘦的妹子举着杠铃两边还放着25磅的weight做抓举和squat，觉得很帅。
今天我也小试了一下，简直觉得快丢死人了。
我一边放15磅的weight已经快不行了。因为那个杠子本来就很沉，再加上一边15磅，两
边30lb，抓两下就起不来了。而且那个15磅weight实在显得太丢人了，旁边那个人的杠
铃上有好多好多weight。
是我太弱了么？那么轻那么小的weight都举不起来实在太丢人了，以后不想再练杠铃了

survey data里有上千的受访者，每个受访者对应一个sampling weight variable。我
只知道在stratified random sample里, 每个受访者被选到的概率是不一样的。这个
sampling weight=1/probability.
那么在我用统计软件run linear regression的时候，这么sampling weight variable
怎么用啊？
（1）先run linear regression里其他的independent variables without the
sampling weight variable,得到 linear regression equation之后再加进这个
sampling weight variable。
（2）run linear regression的时候就加上这个sampling weight variable。
我感觉应该是（1），但不知道得到linear regression equation之后怎么加这个

这个weight是不是直接可以在SAS里面用？比如：

我的问题是关于unrespond weight
instruction里面要求用marrital status, mother's education, mother's age 之类
的变量来衡量unrespond weight
这个样本的取样strata是race，就分为白人和黑人两种。一共分8次取了8个小样本，联
合起来总共有1600多个observation。
我的想法是对每一个batch做unrespond weight，因为每一次取样的时候的response可
能都会不同。
基本上是做一个logistic regression,model应该是左边是finish（有没有完成调查）
，右边是各种控制变量。
我的问题是，要不要把strata的变量race也放到右边去呢。
我理解的是能够估计出unresponse probability，然后1/p就是unrespond weight，我
的理解对马？

我想在这个数据中随机有放回地抽取n个人。
简化一下，就是，比如我们有一个data set, 里面只有两个变量，age and perwt。每
一个observation,代表了那个年龄组里的所有的人。
现在，我想随机从这个数据中抽取10个人，不是10个observation.
请问，Stata和SAS的相关命令是什么？
Stata中，有一个类似的命令bsample 10。但是没有相关的option可以设定原数据中的
weight,倒是有一个option是用来设定输出数据中的weight.
我也想过用svyset，但是我试了

康。
有个很大的科研做了15年的随访，对象是13岁到27岁正常体重的人，运动为Weight
Bearing， 这些人在27岁的时候骨密度是最好的。 另外一个很大的Study是在264个孩
子中做的（9到18岁）， 影响骨密度的因子包括不抽烟，维持良好的体重，和运动。当
然运动预防肥胖一定程度上也预防了肥胖对高度的不良影响。 过度的Weight bearing
运动对于女性来说会影响月经周期，并且对骨骼发育有不良影响。当然我相信运动总的
来说不管哪种运动，一定程度上预防肥胖，喜欢运动的人注意整体健康所以营养状况也
好，这个整体效果对长高应该是有积极影响的。
另外对于学龄孩子来说， 科研没证实补钙片促进了骨骼健康，所以目前还是推荐发育
中的孩子以吃奶制品和其他高钙食品促进骨骼健康。9-18岁的孩子，如果每天钙摄入低
于600毫克，还是建议补钙（没有办法的办法）。同时要有足够的Vitmin D的摄入保证
钙的吸收。

先用proc means加上weight，算weighted mean，assign成一个data，然后在用proc
ttest，不加weight，这样的话mean和df都和前面一样，但是t statistics不一样，结
果p value也不一样。

为啥不用weighting， 把good weight down (bad weight=1, good weight=1/9 ) ?

像这种frequency weighting 或者item weighting相对来说简单.
一般我们的做法就是每一个record生成一个weight=expected proportion/actual
proportion.
sas 里的proc corr是有这个weight的,...spss也有相关的weight.. 我们有时候还在
excel里自己生成宏手动计算. stat就不知道了,
实在太久远了,都不知道怎么用了. |

我和他聊到我做weights，他说那你得花更长的时间stretch，和practice swing。因为
你的肌肉太僵硬了。我在想lifting weights真影响golf吗？如果真这样，我将来少
lift点好了。顺便说一句，我通常都是25分钟的cardio，25分钟的weights，然后在
stretch 10分钟。

independent variables. 所以最后还是有很多indep variables. 我就用加油站的销售
量做为Dependent variable. 做个Regression. Because of muticolinearity problem

发帖数: 3786 | 47 怎么查车的 max hauling weight 呢？ 今天用 q5 拉了两次砖头，
第一次拉24块， 每块42磅， 感觉还比较轻松， 后面有一点下沉而已。
第二次再去拉的时候， 这次拉了28块， 一共1100磅， 感觉还好。
心里也没底到底能拉多少， spec好象只给 towing weight,
没说 hauling weight..

My old Camry's vehicle capacity weight is 900 lb. As Q5 is a much larger and
heavy vehicle, I guess it should be able to carry much more than 900 lb. |

Recently we experience several times Fedex over claim the shipment weight.
Fedex charged me over 30+ LBs (one time is even 50 lbs) for a single Kinect
sensor (no more than 5 lbs).
So, when Fedex print out the receipt, please check the weight. If the weight
is obviously different from your feeling about the item, please ask them
correct it. |
