Stop running for at least two weeks.
Stretch before and after runs.
You will get better by monitoring the mileage you put yourself through and
the reaction of your body thereafer. Be wise and realistic.
Running a 5-mile is human. Running a marathon is insane! It's both a
compliment and a warning.

Thanks 北大学子 for the advice. I know that I was pushing it a little too
hard. However, isn't this what the marathon all about? Training for the race
, we suffer and enjoy :-)
Guess my hard training for the coming SFM is done. Take two more weeks off,
come back and recover in 3 weeks, and then just try by best in the race.

AT 其实没有那么严重的, 我以前也有, 如果不是跑的时候特别疼的话, 可以
runningthrough的。。。一个训练计划休两个礼拜的话基本就没法继续了。。
不过当然还是身体重要。。。
其实如果平时不跑就靠周末补的话很容易导致受伤的。。。miss就miss了, 不用
补的。。

同一样东西.在袜子外面用.我冬天穿的,袜子厚.夏天可能会勒小腿.
版上还是有几位不认同各种straps的.我也觉得其manual上面提到的几种strech方法更
有用.记住每天拉伸一下后脚跟,尤其是刚跑完.

Really?我身上别的部位基本上疼一遍就过去了,只有这个后脚跟--确切说是右后脚跟,
左脚根只在long run之后疼--依依不舍常年相伴.

neutral? It is said that one possible reason for this is too much cushion.
That is why shoe insert usually helps.
But you are right. It does not hurt to try. I will also get one neutral

根據5月份的runners world (p56):
Runners knee, Plantar fascitis, ITBS, Splint Shin, etc, 這些按照, 都可以繼續按
照原計劃參加馬拉松比賽,run through without problem
但是pulled muscles, stress fracture 就是 game over了
我現在不知道Achilles Tendonitis 和 Piriformis syndrome是否可以。
我看了Piriformis syndrome 有一種可能的原因是肌肉和筋腱受傷(斷裂?),那就慘
了。俺的狀
況不明,不過自從今年2,3月出現這個Piriformis Syndrome, 居然現在都沒有好,昨
天short
tempo以後,今天foam roller上面感覺都是脹的。

knees not pointing forward), or if one
has a weak or already injured quadricep tendon, doing heavy squats can

risk is lower back injury. One must be absolutely sure that the form is

Distance: 26.67 mi because of the pit stop.
Initially I was planning to just run half because of
posterior tibial tendon injury. Early in the morning
walking to the start from hotel, I could still feel
the pain. I put on some KT tapes, and it helped a bit.
My friend started at wave 2, and I went to find the other
gang, but nobody's there. Fortunately, I met 小龙和小龙妹
close to my start. I started at the end of wave 4 trying
to take it easy.

I've had worse ankle injuries before (on the other foot, actually). I know there isn't any ruptured tendon
or anything like that, just a very bad inflammation. My right foot is
swollen like a baby's foot, and I cannot flex my ankle to less than 90
degree. But I can walk just fine on forefoot now. I'll be staying at home
for a couple days, no extended walking.

我的膝盖不好,跑步经常会有疼痛感觉。爬山下山也会很有痛觉。
貌似这个产品就是我需要的东东,打算买两个以后跑步带上看有没有作用。

yeah don't overdo the speed work. I read that Haile Gebrselassie sharpens
his 10000m speed by repeated
sprinting up steep hills. But the tough training gave him Achilles tendon
prior to 2004 Olympics, forced him
out of training for three weeks, and possibly cost him an Olympic medal.
