笔者认为吕译优于黄译,其原因在于黄译只忠实于原诗的形式,而吕译忠实的是原诗的神
韵,由此笔者得出结论:英汉诗歌翻译中的“忠实”并非亦步亦趋,追求“形似”应以“
神似”为前提。 “On M onsieur’sDeparture”是我十分喜爱的一首英文诗歌,它的作
者是英国历史上赫赫有名的女王伊丽沙白一世(1533-1603)。四百年前的这位英国女王
命运坎坷,曾陷入死囚的绝境,最终凭借其超人的智慧和毅力摆脱困境并登上王位;她才
智过人,在她的治理下,英国在16世纪下半叶呈现出一派繁荣景象,并为日后“大英帝国
”的形成奠定了坚实的基础。然而,就是这样一位受人敬仰和爱戴的君主,却终身未嫁,
在感情上饱受压抑。这首诗即是作者发自内心的爱的呐喊,通篇都反映出作者内心矛盾

Huang Yu passed away in a car accident on Dec 24th. He lived in Kearny, NJ.
It happened at around 4 am when he was on his way to work to deliver
newspapers. He had a flat tire on Route 22. He was replacing his flat tire
when another driver, apparently with DWI, struck him from behind.
It's said he left with no money, less than $100 in the bank.
