我们也遇到了你这种情况，但是水顺着recess light边缘滴了下来
所以根本没等到drywall浸透就发现了。当时刚住进去。
ceiling dry wall home warranty不管，最后我自己上上去的
费了不少劲。关键是corner，没法在后边订框架
还要上recess light等等
光补那一大块ceiling学了不少东西。。。
btw，我家的原因不是里边的管道，是二楼的马桶和地面的连接处没封好
那些水是二楼浴室地面有积水的时候渗下去的。你也可以看看是不是这种情况
有了霉菌是个很头痛的事情，有文章说这个东西是永远无法去除的... |

shower.
在二楼, 距离stall shower(走热水和冷水的墙里面）旁边的墙大约1尺的地方木地板下
面是
湿润的。
一楼recessed light旁边的水有时候滴，有时候不滴，所以可以确定不是water pipe的
问题，因为如果是water pipe,应该一直滴水才对。
也不应该是shower drain的问题，因为这个shower从来不用.
去了attic看， 非常干燥，没有屋顶漏水的痕迹。
有经验的说说到底是什么地方在漏水？
房子是colonia的，漏水的地方旁边紧挨着车库，所以屋顶是高底不同的两个level |

光源。靠窗洗手池上有小一点的顶灯（一个灯泡），吃早餐的地方有一个5个灯泡的吊
灯。
现在我已经把洗手池上面换成三盏射灯。
吃早餐的地方已经换成三盏小吊灯（mini pendant）
剩下中间的顶灯，最简单的方案是直接换个好点的。
另外一个方案是装recessed light，如果那样的话，中间的顶灯是去掉，还是换一个呢？
问一下厨房里有island和recessed light的同学，你们的island上有额外的灯么？如果
有，是不是跟天花板上的recessed light用不同开关控制？ |

经做完。也唠叨一下我的装修过程吧。
先说一下费用，师傅的labor fee 1.5万（分3次付清），负责装修和提供paint和看不
到的材料（钉子，管子之类），其他材料我们付，其实我们也负担了一些他的材料。窗
子8千多，橱柜4千多，HD的Quartz countertop 近3000刀。冰箱、washer、dryer 2500
刀，打磨地板1千，其他材料近1万。总费用4.5万左右。原来预算3万～～～
房子在麻省，是60多年旧，两层的colonial，1600多sq ft，3卧1.5 bath。原房主年纪
太大，疏于维护，而且卖前好久没有人住了，房子情况可想而知。初步打算搬进去之前
花一个月的时间装修，外面太冷不能做，室内几乎全做，2楼的full bath和1楼的厨房
全部翻新，1楼的2个门拆掉开大，客厅装recession light，family room铺地板（其他
的已经都是wood地板了），室内粉刷，地板打磨，22个窗子全换，地下室铺vinyl。1月

Actually I'm not sure about what floodlight means. I was referring to recessed lighting bulbs. Clearly, the the warm light cfl recessed lighting bulbs don't cost $20, because I have lots of them and I wouldn't if they are that expensive. CFL就是Compact fluorescent lamp，LED就是light emittng diode，
flood light就是光向前方投射的灯，侧面照得很少。普通incandescent灯泡侧面和正
面的光是均匀照射的。

bulbs don't cost $20, because I have lots of them and I wouldn't if they are

其实导火索是老公拆厨房的灯，那个灯线路极其复杂，5条线，每条线有3-4根细线，然
后有4-5个那种拧得connector连接，俺老公竟然没做任何标记就直接给拆掉了，20多根
线头挂在屋顶。。。我一看头大了，本来打算用这个线供recessed light呢，厨房的
recessed light都挖好了，线也扯好了，就差这一根线了，结果弄成这样，我就忍不住
说了他。于是乎，老公一急就给一个以前帮我们装过热水器的一个contractor打电话了
。本来光想让他帮着弄弄厨房的线路，补补墙和完成recessed light。因为其他屋子包
括Living， family，master br都没有灯,所以干脆都让他帮着弄了。这几天在干呢。
顺便问了一下他相关的信息。他光铺瓷砖要收费1000多，我觉得还是自己试一下比较好
。节约一下预算开支。房顶的活确实不是我们能干得了的。 |

1. 油烟机的宽度都是标准的，大部分不是30就是36，我们本来默认的是30,正好
cooktop上放microwave的，考虑到microwave放countertop上占地方也不是特别美观，
于是升级到built in microwave，原来microwave的地方给装了36的普通油烟机，我后
来自己买了个36的山寨神器装上去，你是30的当然没问题，如果墙后有出烟口就更好了。
2. engineer木地板的价格非常离谱，这种属于surface upgrade，可以自己找人弄，这
价格找builder升级的人真是太懒了，外面找人弄1w出头就能搞定。不要指望builder会
给你非常高档的材料。一般工程木5块钱左右per sq ft的就不错，我家是先地毯用着，
等小娃大点再换，有些人是怕麻烦要挪家具，但这个跟搬家来比根本不算事。
3. recessed light我自己装了几个，也不难，关键是扯线，我们family room顶上本身
就有两路电，墙上也留了两个开关，分别给fan上的灯和电扇，拿出一路装recessed

周三接孩子的时候和老师谈了下，中心思想就是一定配合老师管教，不能打人，上课要
听指令。。。结果回家娃说喊绰号继续，问告诉老师没，娃说没有，告诉老师没用。。
。借鉴了楼上几个mm的建议，告诉娃，打人不对，不管老师管不管都不能打人，一定要
管好自己不能再犯错了。同时告诉娃老师不管爸爸妈妈会管的，会给老师写email，会
找校长的，娃当下就很高兴，情绪好了很多。当着他的面给老师又写了封email，说娃
连着三天被喊绰号，这明显是bully了，请老师帮忙找出坏小孩，停止bully行为。
周四早上收到老师回信，说会管的，但是她只有星期二在操场当班，要我教小孩告诉
recess teacher。于是我那天送完娃没回去，等到recess的时候直接去操场找老师了，
说了下具体情况，喊绰号的是两年级的小孩，貌似是一群小孩一起踢足球的，老师让娃

现在的问题是，等SPY跌到250抓反弹呢，还是等它跌到225抓反弹呢？
如果牛市假定的话，小的支撑线已经破了。中线支撑在250，对应的历史点点是如下两
个黑天鹅事件：
1）2016年初巨冷大家认为要recession了，spx跌到186。
2）2016年11月大选在即，spx跌到208。
按此拟合一条直线，现在应该差不多250.
长线支撑是225，对应的历史点是：
1）2009年3月recession的最低点的68。
2）2011年9月Eurozone主权债务危机的113。
3）2016年初巨冷大家认为要recession了，spx跌到186。

的工，$1840, 写的时候再留了点余地。Recess light我本来说是40/个， 是个平均水
平的价格。安装recess light $75-100/个--- 你没好好看贴吧. living 版的 mxf买的
是 25/个的recess Light。你自己看， 楼10
。严格意义上来说，其实我以前找到过一个师傅，给我的价是 $1500 人工，但是他现
在拽的不行， 涨价了，但是这种价格还是会存在的。 |

dimmer控制，
一间屋子的话90一个(6-8个左右)，如果客厅也装了数量多(大概一共15个)，可以80一
个。
不过我那房子天花板不够高，recess light效果不好。另外我以前挺fan recess light
的，现在租的apt里面recess light用了半年，觉得那玩艺直射太厉害，光线不够柔和
，就不打算装了。
我觉得他报高价可能是其实不想干那活。这两天和他接触下来感觉人还是蛮实在的，交
流沟通都很顺畅。 |

Remeber there was 911 and war and recession too to spend money on, but now
Obama only has one recession to deal with, and he already spent 3/5 of the money without finishing the recession yet?
