不过劝你别把孩子的路限制的太早，什么年龄都是可以开始绘画的，倒是钢琴可能对年
龄依赖较大。
不知为啥现在很多家长都给孩子各种兴趣班同一年龄段培养。我四岁学琴，九岁学画，
十五岁正式声乐训练。每样都学了四年以上。有些东西强度和压力根本没必要那么大，
我妈都是让我把每一样学到自己认为不适合专业路线自己停掉。而且比赛这事在钢琴声
乐学习中最流行，不能不说有老师家长的私心。绘画比赛怎么没那么频繁？因为绘画是
更加自我陶醉自我表达的创作过程。音乐何尝不是呢？

我家是反过来，生下来就亲爸爸。我一开始也玻璃心。结果恶性循环。
后来试着问爸爸我哪里做的不对。还好爸爸不吝赐教。一直有进步。但是最重要的是平
常心。感觉你俩，其实也许就是你自己？把这事在娃面前渲染重了，其实淡化就好了。
晚上等娃睡了问问他是不是真在乎。只要他有心，都可以通过practise改善的。

小弟去postdoc面试，飞了半天，旅途劳顿。在宾馆默念好多遍presentation内容，
practise了无数次，前天提前10分钟到了那个招postdoc的faculty的办公室。结果没人
，由于联系都是俩人直接email,phone，所以不知道找谁问。问了几个小蜜，都说不知
道，让我等。在走廊里面等了1个多小时后，出现了，也没说为什么迟到（不过说了
sorry).然后坐下聊了几句做的科研，介绍了下情况，大约15-20分钟的样子。然后很傲
慢地说他已经找到人了，说抱歉了。不用做presentation了。
我想说的是，操你大爷。真你妈个烂人，当个烂ap就觉得自己不得了？我知道熬了这么
多年postdoc终于找个faculty位置不容易，不过至于这么拽么？
当然，心里还是比较欣慰。老婆说得对，这样的老板，跟了才麻烦。

于美国这边比较严格,所以考试的内容要在真实的病人身上.满口血肯定是不可能的,当
场就Fail了. 更不是什么小白鼠,由于考一次试就要好多钱,他们一般会选择自己最有信
心的Case. 我们学校的好像原来在国内都有Lisence.
所以如果运气好,你才可能被选上.一般不可能是比较大的case, 由于考试要在一天内完
成.常见的就是帮你补个牙什么的,全部免费.如果你确实有需要, 还是可以省五六百刀
的.这是我们学校的,宾州或者新泽西周围的应该都可以.PM me, if you need the

seeing somebody (mostly indians) lists tons of skills on their resume, while
none of them in a specific project (even a course project).
try to talk to some friends:
1) see what they do in their work, what skills they use, what type of
business, clients...
2) see if there're openings;
3) get them to help you with your resume;
4) practise a mock interview with them.

很多新移民都经历过一个心理状态的变化。刚到国外，觉得很新鲜、很好奇，觉得国外
的天真蓝、空气真清新！但是等到过了一段时间，他们就进入到了低潮期，因为找工作
不顺利，觉得受到歧视！
这些人以前在国内很多都有很好的工作和收入；到了国外发出几百封应聘信，结果一封
回信也没有，这一下子让他们接受不了了！通过"技术移民"刚到国外的人，因为没有获
得当地的各种资历认证，所以一时半会儿根本找不到对口的技术性工作；对于他们来说
，既要抛弃国内的学历和工作背景，又要花费时间和金钱考取当地的牌照，这着实让人
很郁闷！
拿澳大利亚举例说明，很多人为了尽快在当地找到工作，就决定去一些工厂打工。在南
澳大利亚州的首府城市阿德莱德，往往有"南菇北鸡"的说法，指的是阿德莱德的南边有
个很大的蘑菇厂，北边有个很大的杀鸡厂；这两个工厂都是劳动密集型行业。在这里工
作虽然辛苦，但最起码有稳定的收入。

I would be very disppointed (about Mintz) if a member (partner) of its
immigration law practice seeking information from someone who is not even
practising law.

related to your background. The advantages of this are:
1) practise your English
2) keep yourself updated with knowledge in related field
3) get a recommendation letter from a PI at UNC, Duke or NCSU.

I've been living there for almost 4 yrs.
Yes, the one in community center is the one. I have been to one yoga class
before, but not with them. It's not too hard. Everyone can practise on their
own strenth. I think it's very good; slow but strong movements, not much
sweating, a lot of balancing and strenching.
The next session will start in early september. let me know if you want to
go too. |

110/60，属于偏低，但是还是属于正常。
如果没有伴随的头晕眼花，容易疲劳乏力，短期内体重骤减之类的症状，一般没有什么
太大的问题。如果不放心，去找一个primary physician practising in internal
medicine or family medicine的都可以。约好以后去医生诊所看，100%不建议去ER。
这种情况去ER，估计要等上几个小时到1天的时间。ER主要是针对严重的情况的。如果
你实在不愿意等约医生的时间，可以去urgent care。
我估计你可能有轻微贫血，你让医生做个CBC再看吧。 |
