It is indeed painful. You may not believe it now, but the pain will be
released by letting it pass through you, although that sensation (胸口发闷，
巨大的痛苦象潮水一样淹过来) is uncomfortable. It may happen again and again,
and try to observe it as it passes through you. You could try to describe
the sensation in your heart, towards your limb, etc, to give this feeling
some acknowledgement. The pain will dissipate one day.

may not all be real; however, the past life memories that are being
remembered could be real. I just want to specify that seeing those things is
not the purpose of meditation. It is okay whether it happens or not.
I am personally inclined to believe that reincarnation is true, by the past
life memories that people had, the psychic talks with higher spirits, some
people's experiences during meditation, etc.

anything. I find it very interesting to know more, and I do appreciate the
sharing on this board.
I accept things that make sense to me at every moment in my life. I believe
that many other people, if not all, are doing the same to accept things that

say a bit more.
1. All people die. There's no exception. It's a choice to die fearfully
without knowing the other side, or die peacefully knowing that this life
has a purpose. Many people don't know that there's such a choice.
At least based on what I read, both Brian Weiss and Byron Katie have
helped many dying patients to die peacefully with the knowledge that

The first one is 虚云和尚's near death experience ah.
In NDE, the souls can recognize other souls, not by face appearances, not by
body figures, but just by the knowing of souls. The communication may not
be done by words, either. In PLR (past life regression proposed by Brian
Weiss, nearly a modification of hypnotherapy), souls are easily recognizable
no matter what gender it is in, or what body it is in.

that when I was a kid, I thought that 涅磐 was like an euphemism for the
death of monks.
Well, recently when I get to know more of 涅磐, I personally think that it's
a state that souls don't need to return to reincarnations. As I've reasoned
from PLR experiences, psychic experiences, NDE experiences, etc, and of

did that. Yet due to the limitation of consciousness, she perhaps did not
realize that she was a Buddha or someone alike consciously.

要说汉传佛教不是佛法，有点冤枉它，它会理直气壮地把三法印拿出来挥舞：我都有，
我都有！
如果把真正的佛法比喻成一颗明珠，汉传“大乘”佛教就是一大团包裹着这颗明珠的大
粪，大粪的基本成分是各种各样的外道学说，但是它们在汉传里有个统一的名字，叫做
“方便”，和“大便”押韵，而大部分的汉传佛教学人都啃着大粪津津有味，同时陶醉
在可以用这个“方（大）便”度脱世人上。

/her mental processing. The final result is a convoluted mental image/
concept/explanation that involves both the observer and the outside world. I
understand that the Buddhism (the book "Joy of Living", for instance) tries
to explain that everything ends up at that mental level, and I agree with
that, but I don't see how this negates the existence of the outside world,
which triggers those mental activities.

What I mean to ask is that now that people have memories through life-times
as humans, but never with any memory as other beings (animals or others),
why would Buddhism say that all beings are in reincarnations?

in PLR. Dipa Ma said that she could go back to the time when Buddha taught
mind moment by mind moment. Has there been any Buddhist who could go back to
Jesus' time and check it?
But I doubt that 日全食, 地震 or zombie满城跑 happened. Were these things
written in the Bible? |

Regarding this point, I really can't tell what's the cause.
I don't think that all cancers are punishments on bad karma. There are not
only cancers, but also many other incurable diseases nowadays, including
birth defects.
Brian Weiss' first born son died in 7 days due to heart defect, and he
learned from the Masters during his patients' PLR that his son (an older
soul) died to remind him that surgery could do only that much, and his son's
