发帖数: 32 | 1 带女儿去了。先说成绩。去年垫底，今年打的不错，中游，平均每轮八十几杆水平。和
LOCAL TOUR 比主要是距离不够，大概有六，七个洞没法标上。球场有上坡，加上下雨
增加了难度。
第一天打完后比较泄气。想不到第二天出现转机。同组一女孩个头很小距离很短。基本
是PAR4 当PAR5，PAR5 当PAR6。可她的短杆非常出色，拿了很多 UP AND DOWN。于是灵
机一动对女儿说，“你看，她的距离比你还短，所以GIR没那么要紧，FOCUS ON你的
SHORT GAME就行。”女儿听了后短杆发挥神勇，她自己也信心大增。最后一轮差点破八
，可惜一个6 FOOTER小鸟推过头，成了BOGEY。
整个比赛的亮点是wedge GAME 很好，拿了几个小鸟全靠wedge 打的很近。也看了几个
LEADER 的球，感觉成绩要好，距离一定要提高。计划下次上课和教练谈一下距离的问
题。 |

Test Par1
Test Par2
Test Par3
Test Par4
Test Par5
Test Par6
有台双核的CPU，如果run Test.Bat，那么就是用一个核运行Test Par1，完了再Test
Par2，完了再Test Par3......
现在我的解决办法是写2个BAT文件，各分配一半的任务，但是不同的参数可以有很大不
同的运行时间，所以这办法不是最优。
请问牛牛们有没有办法自动的先运行Test Par1和Test Par2，一个完了后再运行Test
Par3......

speaking, I can finish it by 2+(2.2-2.5).
Like I mentioned, i don't use the driver, i don't have the sand wedge,
either,which makes some trouble for me.
It becomes par4 is par 5 for me, and par5 is par 6. Of course, i should not
make excuse for the par 3.hehe.
Meanwhile, I play pretty conservatively. Never want the lost ball penalty
happen, always use the most safe iron, and so on.

该球场是一个近5800 YARDS PAR 68的 9 HOLE球场。
挺起来挺酷吧，实际上LAYOUT了9个HOLE， 但双重TEE BOXES，这样从不同的TEE 打2遍
就是个18 HOLES球场。
维护的还不错，应该也算比较难的，除了每个PAR4 PAR5 都不长外。
我都是用4 IRON TEE OFF。 租来的DRIVER AND FAIRWOODS太不好用。
最后，我们每人付了380的GREEN FEE， 120的租用费和最后50的小费。
还跑出去买了60的球。
建议各位GOLFER出门怎么也把球，手套，TEE等带上，即使带不成球杆。 |

发帖数: 10701 | 7 近一个月没有打过course，前天回来碰了一点点球杆，周五上了天班，下班就回家睡觉
直到凌晨2点。
上网，看书，看电视，于6点接到同事来电说要去打GOLF.
那时刚躺下还想睡会呢。
去就去吧，没有热身。站在tee box前，感觉那个不一样呀，真有些第一打golf的样子。
于是第一个tee shot就OB. 以double bogery结束第一par 5.
却没想，自此stay fire。birdied第2个396 yards par 4, 然后2个pars in a row,
bogery一个par3, 接下来 double, 在par, par, 以4 over结束前9洞。
第2个double-bogery也发生在par5上。我和同事第一次在这个river lake golf course
打球，他对周围的房子非常感兴趣，也有一懂open house。他就取了个flyer, 上书
3340 sqt, 4 bed/ 3 bath, 3 garage，开价$1.1M. 他说要和他老婆商量把自己家的$
2M house卖掉，到这里买一幢。

完工另外9 hole.
3250 yards, par 35, rated/slope: 36/138 something
前5个holes, 100% G.I.R. , even after 5 holes. 剩下就噩梦开始了，bogery,
double, triple ,然后就是。。。double.
结论：想要个好点的成绩，不能象我这样背了近30lbs的包walking了。
不过，两个300 yards的driving (hole #1, 569 yards par5, 260 yards left after
tee shot), and hole #8, 400 yards par 4, 100 yards left after tee shot)，和1
个birdie，2个从洞中旋转一圈又滚出来的几乎birdies还是很让我兴奋的。 |

我读Arnold Palmer的书playing golf by rule后很多案例，大多都是关于角逐冠军和
disqualification的鲜活例子，给我的感觉是men's golfers里有意cheating的不多，
只是对规则不是那么懂，后来很多人都是自己承认违规要求被处罚的。 |

so i predict the best score I could shot at this course will be +7, hoho.
Sean O'hare shots -8 through 12 holes with an averaged driving distance 311

for these long courses, the feature is that a lot of 420 or so par 4, and a
number of 200 or so par3.
if drive just 220, then 200 apporach, that's not confortable distance (never
hit green from 200 yard)
245 + 175 (borrow some roll on green, just 170, so it's more comfortable for
a mid iron shot)
if drive 245, 3wood 230 or so, then 70-80 left for 550 par5, or 20-30 yard
for 510 par 5. that's getting comfortable picture. |

long iron还好， 有一个par5 , driver +2 iron for eagle还挺酷；还有就是一次
3iron approaching，我称呼为shot of the day。 但short iron 感觉不好，没offset
以后，我的那最依靠的一个swing thought就找不到北了。
不知道是该回到i5还是接着再试试。。 |

36 holes stroke play, no handicap requirment.
今天下午又去试了s59， 感觉好些了。一共打了24个洞，如果只算一个round 18个洞的
话，4 over, front 9 +3, back 9 +1 （有一个par5没打完，我估计bogey了）。 一个
birdie， 2个5 feet内birdie 机会没拿上，当然也没仔细，因为天已经黑了。
还是i5 好呀。。 |

the first time i went to play on course, my buddy rent a set from the
country club. i dont have driver, and never played driver before. then i
used his rented calaway Bigberth 460, i love it right away. and tee off with
it almost every hole. I even start with driver for a 186 par3. Now i look
back, i wouldnt use driver again to tee off a 186 par3.

主要还是个简单的par 4, 50 yards out for approach shot. 果岭是个island
surrounding by water, 我一时忘了这是50码，打出full swing, 直接将球送进后面的
水里。

it is not easy to get close to the hole regardless it is 200 yard par3 or
100 yard par3.

下场变数就多了..不过这种稍短的保par还是没什么问题，birdie主要靠推杆那天手感
得好
但因为我木杆、长铁太烂，打一些长par4/par5的洞对我来说太折磨人了，三杆下来才
摸到果岭边，哈哈
所以主要现在主要就是靠短铁和推杆吃饭 |

i realized without solid 200 yards shot, birdie is just out of the question,
and par if lucky with one putt.
for 200 par3, 420 or more par4, and 480 or more par5, there is just no
chance.

然打出+14,最终后9加19.值得一提的是在一个PAR5打了个BIRDIE CHIP.小球走出一倒弧

for average golfers like us that gets maxed out at 6,7 iron, and you have to
play a guessing game when hitting 3,4,5 iron.
so you will hesitate when hitting down and lose momentum or accuracy, thus
causing lack of distance or missing the target.
that's why i said to you before, long par4s (400+) is killer, anything
happened to your driver, you will be left with a 180+ approaching shot into
green, you don't have a 2nd chance like par5s and y |

然后就直接铁杆一抡到底.结果我们还赢了吨午饭.当然主要是队友水平高,par5轻松抓
鹰,而且还跟没事儿是的.要我早就乐疯了.
今年目标是铁杆打直打正.下场就不带driver了. 每洞按bogey 打.外加１０杆buffer,
争取进100.

use 3 iron.
it all depends on how good are your irons.
as ET said before, 7 iron 150, times 3, you can still reach short par5 by
GIR
to me, without driver, my ball wont go anywhere.
in terms of course management, i am on the other end spectrum. I plan to
leave my irons out of my game for now (keep 7,8,9), since most of my errant
shots are from irons. also, to get good score, most of time, it is decided

打起来压力非常大, 因为搞来搞去，好几个洞都差不多，有一90YARDS PAR3，人TEE
OFF ONLY 2 FEET TO THE HOLE |

PGA event standard course, the level of play has to be higher. here is the
estimate:
bogey on par3, only 4 holes;
15% mishit for shot around 200 yard, long iron, or 5 woods (from rough);
10% mishit for shot around 130, short iron; and 40,50 yard pitch shot;
average 2.5 putt or short chip on par4 and par5;
average 2 putt or short chip on par3;

more confidence in it. kind of positive cycle.
8i is short club and easy to control, and high trajectory results in very
little roll. last time play, i found ball mark, and ball is only 3 feet away.
i think par5, par4, and elevated down green 170 yard par3, all could use 8i,
so you intentionally break down the distance with 150-160 yards in
consideration.

most time, I am always in hurry to get my ball on the green. For par3, I use
one of my long irons, and for par4 and par5, I tee off with my driver or 3
wood and regardless of how bad the teeing off is, I either use a wedge to
correct my fault or use one iron to get the ball close to the green, which
ends up with using wedges a lot.

星期六我打的一个par5 也是跟你的差不多, 505 yards, 大逆风
TEE是从山上打下来, 滚到270, 还剩235,
3WOOD顶风 打235很难，再加上左边有水，决定LAYUP
(in the picture, red is for "what if i play the best 3wood"; yellow is how i
was playing)
左边有水, 球起靠右, 逆风一吹, 停在CART PATH旁的ROUGH
第三杆90YARDS，侧顶风，进BUNKER
第四杆出BUNKER, 滚进水
结果很简单的APPROACHING (ie, 如果不考虑有水，第二杆是想都不想的3WOOD), 被我
LAYUP成最糟糕的洞, 肠子都悔青了, 在这之前的8个洞是我开的最好的8个洞了

last time, we played at callippe, at #18 par5, with my best driver+3wood
combination, i have 110 or so to the green, i pull a club, and the shot went
over the green. i was so surprised to see my #9 can go that far, checked my
club, turn out it was a #6, so i dropped another ball, re-played with #9,
ball landed short of green. ixcafe was laughing at me: "your #9 and #6
almost same distance". my #9 and #6 difference is one lands in front of

by my standard, he is just doing fine.
the horrible 9 (450y) holes i listed before the open start, he just bogey 4
out of those 9 so far. and he didnt bogey any other holes not in those 9,
which is a good sign. as long as he can weather through the rest formidable
9
and pick up a birdie from 17 par5.
he should have no problem to make the cut.
and if he can pick another birdie out of 13 or 15, he would be on his way to
sunday contention. |

these yardage should be very accurage, not like local muni, you can play 10-

yesterday, there was 2 par5, i use 2 strokes to get closer to the flag.
one is 20 yards, the other is 70 yards.
the 20 yards one was on the fairway in front of green, the grass was cut
very short. so my decision was to putt it instead of chip it. And it was an
eagle attempt i got so excited, given i was crossing the lake to reach the
greenside. long story short, waste 4 strokes to get the hole. from eagle
attempt to bogey.

基本上最近电视的转播我看到的都是
par5, driver + 3/5wood, 2 on, if not 2 on, pitch or chip would get on green
par4, driver (300+) + short iron (<170)
i rarely see any pros use long iron, except some long par3.
at least, i rarely see tiger use 6 iron or 5 iron, not to mention 3 or 4 (
only few times on the par3)

hole #7, par5 595, blue tee,
tee off, couldnt see the ball, another buddy saw it, and the ball land on
cart path, and bounce forward, rest around a spinkler, marked 260 to the
hole.

watched a bit bridgestone invitational, on one hole, stawrd cink drove 387
