Now I can hit ball staight, but dont know how far it goes to. sometimes far,
sometimes short. GIR is almost 00/18, Chipping is so aweful,when lucky got
par, bad luck, got double or triple.

GIR, especially short hole. most of time my ball goes to about 20 yards
around green, and i chipped, if i lucky, ball goes near to pin. and i putt
it. it was par. most of time i need 2 -3 putt , jusst so hard to get a par,
not hard to get bodge, double 3-4 times one or two trible, sometime one
quarterble, everytime high 90s.
what do you guys think? how to improve?

say u pratice 7 iron a lot, u are pretty much comfortable with that.
play all shots (if possible) using ur 7 iron.
a 300 yards par 4, ur 7 goes 150 yars, 7+7, u can reach green.
a 340 yards, 7+7, u have about 40 yards left, then try your pitching/
chipping, get the ball on green by the 3rd shot, 2 putts for bogey.
480 par 5, it's 3-shot of 7 again, u can still reach green by 3 shots, and 2
putts for par.

I am not good at woods, so I use 2 iron to tee off. even 570 yard hole I use
2 iron for 3 shots to approach to the green, that is why i can not land on
green.
And I have no pitching shot. eight too short or too long, rolling off green,
so I need to chip it back, sometime I chip well, so i got par, but that
doesnot happened often. so many things need to be improved before break 90. | t****i

the second is your short game.
you can try to improve your woods game later - when you need to break 80s. i

difficult to approach green from far away, and the ball tends to roll alot.

is why i cannot GIR. need to improve it.
570 yards is the longest hole i usually play, and there is only one 400+
yard par 4 hole. so I can tee off by 2nd iron, which normally for 190-200
yards and then using another iron to approach.
Yesterday I play twilight 9 hole, for the first time I got one GIR for one
340 yards par 4 hole. and got one birdie for a 130 hole par 3. that made me
so happy. also I got some feelings

how come? 2 iron is always a difficult club to hit. that's why so many
instructors recommends hybrid/5 woods to take the advantage of forgivness.
also how far can u hit ur 2 iron? say 230? even for a 380 yards par 4, u
still gonna use a 7 iron for approaching shot. it doesn't sound wise excet
the fairway is narrow .

hybrid?
the first time i went to play on course, my buddy rent a set from the
country club. i dont have driver, and never played driver before. then i
used his rented calaway Bigberth 460, i love it right away. and tee off with
it almost every hole. I even start with driver for a 186 par3. Now i look
back, i wouldnt use driver again to tee off a 186 par3.

shocked and asked him whether it was even legal by rule. The old guy was
suprised about the question and said yes. Then I noticed that he had 5
hybrids in the bag. Guess what? Nothing else...

I dont understand this.
What is soundview? My engilish is so poor. then I knew it was somebody's ID,
fun. No i am not.
The reason tha t i dont use woods is that sometimes the ball hooked , and I
cant find it:-), so have to take panelty. and the distance is just 20- 30
yards more than My 2 iron. dont know why, I think my swing for woods is not
right.
I can hit 2 iron 190- 200 yards. 7iron about 130-140 yards.including rolling.
The course i palyed is not that long, 6300

comfortable with a iron approach shots from 150 range, but very unonfortable
with hitting a driver into a well guarded narrow fairway. my 2/3 iron off
the tee into a 380 par 4 give me more chances for par than driver off the
tee.
if i want birdie, yes, driver/wedge is a better bad. but if i miss fire the
driver, we will be talking about bogey or worse.
btw, i am teeski, not soundview.
