a lake in a park. i always wondered if i could shoot over it. made 2 shots.
recently found that google satellite map provides scale to 50m. estimated
the distances of the two shots.
the pond is about 140m wide.
6 iron used.
club --- no famous brand, cast cavity back, "tour design"
ball --- used top-flite
first shot --- shot from the corner of the lake towards another corner of
the lake, didn't saw the ball flight, locate | C*********o

try to add picture to articles.
the first shot splashed through tree leafs.didn't see ball flight and how it
landed. the landing zone is close to a concrete lane. might have gotten
some bounce from concrete. if that's the case, 180m is over estimate.
second shot had very high trajectory due to shot from up slope, so when it
was dropping, seemed like steep angle dropping (almost verticle).

maybe nice time when you play on the course, you can illustrate it this way
as well and post it here. then people can see how you hit your drivers and
irons.

发帖数: 2325 | 7 last time i played on a practice golf course (pleasanton golf center)
one hole, pin distance on tee sign board is 137 yards. i put the ball about
10 yards back from the tee. use 8 iron (my usual distance for 8 is about 150
), landed on the green. however, the ball bounced off green to left side.
see the attached map. i got par at this hole.
how come ball flight straight, but bounce to leftside?? the green is flat
and clean of alien objects. you shot bounce like this too?

你那个问题是不是因为有点小draw? 或者就是green看着平，其实下面的草皮材料赶巧
就那块不是均匀的。 看ball mark了吗？
