play golf at this course is like play world series of poker, lucky guy get
win...
about half par4 over 450
half par5 over 600
one par3 248, only 2 par 3 shorter than 200
these yardage should be very accurage, not like local muni, you can play 10-
20 yards shorter than yardage sign...
water hazards, tree, bending fairway, bunkers, uneven terrain... you name it

Turned out not too bad, reachable with hybrid or woods, easy for pros with
good long irons shots.

seems like a fun course, the web site even provides play guide.
if get comfortable with 200 par 3, then think of that play second shot at
400+ par4. it's still tougher since no tee up at fairway, have to have a
good drive 230+ to have an easier approach(170, could be shorter than 170
yard since fairway bends if you take straight line shot path), for making
par or better(forget birdie for me)...

发帖数: 4031 | 7 Many Par4s are in 400 yards plus range. If one can drive the ball more than
230 yards, he's supposed to carry his long iron or hybrid or wood 170 yards
or better. I don't see you having an issue on a Par4 less than 430 yards. To
me, if distance is not a problem for you, short game drills often take the
leading role in making a bogie or a par or a birdie. ET probably has more
breakthrough ideas to share with us.

because i don't find a course have 450+ par4 yet)
last week play front 9 boundary oak, 3 400+ par4 holes
#1 424 par4, bogey (drive off fairway no grass hard lie, throw back to
fairway, then 5wood
#4 413 par4, drive into trees, and tried to play through tree, messed up...
#9 417 par4, GIR (didn't putt trying to finish 18 holes before dark)

发帖数: 674 | 9 it was OK except putting, the green was so weird. I was like 3 putts or more
per hole......and it was not just me.......
putts took half of my total strokes.
