After the roll-down, I double-checked the UVXY volatility chart,
and realized its IV was no longer overstating HV. In other words,
there is not enough short-term premiums to squeeze,
with respect to the risk I am taking.
I was probably too aggressive and greedy. It could backfire
if VIX spikes again.
Rolling down to only ~35, rolling out for one additional month,
or closing out half of the positions, might have been a safer trade. |

is the actual volatility computed from stock price movement.
Implied volatility (IV) is computed from option prices
based on the B-S options pricing model.
The main argument of the short-volatility school is that
IV usually overstates HV, especially in high IV environment,

as long as there is enough liquidity.
Indeed, the volatility implied from option prices have been almost always
overstating realized volatility of stock price movements; in other words,
option prices almost always carry some “excess premium”.

怎么判断该个股适不适合 short IV。你可以拿它的 Historical Volatility (or
Realized Volatility) VS Implied Volatility 图来看，看他的过去的 IV vs HV 倾
向：如果 IV 下崩的时候，HV 上窜得还不如 IV 崩前高，那么该股的 ER 就是 IV
historically overstated HV，就很适合 short IV。如图，本班老相好 CMG 就是不错
的例子，我几次 ER play 都得手了，这次 ER 我还会这么玩。
当然 ER 是极端的情况。平时操作，也可以参考该股历史上 IV vs HV 的表现。
要具体情况具体分析，每个个股的脾气都不一样。比如我最近开始玩爆消息的小药股，
就发现 short IV 基本不行，HV 极为暴烈。 |

Your company can file amended 4th quarter return 941 to get the tax
withholding and FICA tax back. Your company may cost additional money or
time to amended payroll report. I assume at this time of the year, most
companies have finalized the W-2. If they have additional income to your W-2
, you need to ask them to issue you a corrected W-2.
Make sure your W-2 is accurate, make sure the company did not overstate your
taxable income. |

你要问人家，很多人嘴巴都会说同性恋婚姻应该合法，票投出来就不一样了。因为投票
没有压力，会反映人心里真正的好恶。
另外一个问题是民掉如何问很有学问，你如果问：婚姻是一男一女么，结果是高过60%
人回答是。
你如果问：应该禁止同性恋婚姻么？你就看到不同的结果。
