刚刚开了这个美国人拍的关于中国的纪录片，感觉比JM更加仇视中国十倍，整个video
充满偏见和歧视，而且这个纪录片居然是netflix top video with 4 stars。是不是应

"Death by China" director Peter Navarro talks about why he thinks the US-
China relationship is broken, and what he thinks we should do about it.
The documentary "Death by China" argues that the unbalanced economic
relationship between the US and China is the most urgent problem facing the
US today. The film has been controversial, with reviews calling it "heavy-
handed" and "agitprop," though few have argued that the fundamentals of what
the film portrays are wrong. Though it highlights issues in China such as
pollution, human rights abuses, and toxic products, which is it careful to
blame on Chinese authorities and not the Chinese people, the film also
portrays the US government and multinational corporations as part of the
problem.
On China Focus, we sit down with "Death by China" director Peter Navarro to
talk about why he says the US-China relationship is broken, and how he plans
to make trade reform with China a key issue in the upcoming US presidential
elections. Is the US really facing death by China? And if so, what can

lady as the team member who participated the movie production during a UCI
alumni event and she also mentioned that she cannot agree many biased views
in the movie though she has express her opinions during the production.
But Peter Navrarro needs to attract eye balls of normal American for his
movie ...especially after 2008 financial crisis.
2. He is OK economic professor, but not a good politician and will never be
even he has tried.
3. Last year he organized presidential debate simulation with both local
Republican and Democrats from Orange County in the debate. During the event,
he tried to let both sides to agree his views towards China.
However, both sides - Republican and Democrats from OC did not agree his
views and one of Republican guy is a very successful business leader.
Instead they emphasized the relationship between US and China are very
important and current Chinese government has made huge contribution to lift
hundred million of people out of poverty. They also mentioned that Peter
Navarrro should not mislead everyone to link China as the demon to high US
high unemployment and the US problem is direct result of housing bubble
burst and financial crisis.
In general, his movie and his books can only have adverse effects: 1)
Increase the hatred to normal American towards China and normal Chinese
people; 2) All of what he did will only worsen the relationship between US
and China.
He is living in his own academic world...

发帖数: 18403 | 8 This kind of blame-china-for-everything-american-problem racism is
the fundamental cause for this Jimmy Kimmel affair. And it's so prevalent
in US media that nobody thinks twice about it or its possibly disastrous
consequences.
Until now that is. Time we start a PR effort to a fairer and more balanced
and more optimistic view of China and the Chinese contribution to world
peace and US culture.
It's been done in the past, Germany Japan and Turkey all used to be sworn
enemies of US and now staunch allies. Russia used to be enemies of the US,
and now at least neutral. China and the US have lots of common interests
and shared values, no reason to hate each other other than irrational fear
and prejudice.
