也不会投很多钱进去，只有能赚钱就好。

Alibaba: SEC Investigation Is A Misunderstanding, Says Morgan Stanley
Alibaba Group (BABA) tumbled 6.8% after disclosing that the U.S. SEC has
started an investigation into its accounting practice.
Specifically, Alibaba said the SEC has requested information on their “
consolidation policies and practices” including their accounting for the e-
commerce goods delivery system Cainiao Network. Alibaba owns 47% of Cainiao
– a minority stake – so it used equity instead of consolidation method
when it reported Cainiao’s earnings.
If Alibaba includes Cainiao’s earnings using equity method, Cainiao will
only go to the earnings after operating income line. Using the consolidation
method, it will go not only to the operating income but also the revenue
top-line.
In 2015, Cainiao incurred revenue of 3.1 billion yuan and net loss of 617
million yuan. Alibaba already recognized 295 million losses for its 47%
stake in Cainiao.
Morgan Stanley thinks this is a buy-on-dip opportunity. On the contrary to
public opinions, Alibaba has already more transparent in its accounting
practice (although Barron’s believes it is far from being perfect). “We
are incrementally more positive on Alibaba given its increased transparency
and disclosures on Cainiao and other related parties,” wrote analyst Robert
Lin.
In addition, Cainiao’s earnings are peanuts compared to Alibaba. In the
last year, Alibaba generated 101 billion yuan in revenue and 43 billion yuan
in earnings. Cainiao’s revenue is just about 3% of Alibaba’s and the
financial statements won’t be looking all that different using
consolidation method.
To be sure, the SEC also requested information on Alibba’s policies related
to party transactions in general and its reporting of operating data from
Singles Day. Morgan Stanley did not address these issues. |

其实并不是baba卖出去了那么多东西，是在Baba开店的所有人的交易总额（也包括造假
的成交量）。赚钱赚大头的也是店主们，而不是Baba，淘宝和天猫都只不过是个平台而
已。baba的很多其他投资都不透明，不知道钱去哪里了，怎么花的，这也是个问题。 |
