跑下来感觉不错,比赛规模适中(全马半马总共8000人),天气好(气温40~50F),路
线elevation变化不大,最后8mile沿河一路风景很好(不过到了这阶段没几个人有兴致
看风景),河边有很多小树丛可作男子快速排水的地点,起点/终点是在当年Bill
Bowerman培养出一把Olympian的Hayward Field。
本人成绩3:54, even split, 而且头10k和最后10k的用时也相等;全程pace基本和事前
计划一致,到最后累归累但还可以坚持住,没有撞墙。
就是第二天上下楼梯比较痛苦。 |

过于兴奋,或者最近的忙碌生活让我一直无法连续睡超过6个小时。不过早点醒来也好
,可以早点吃饭,顺便整理东西,比赛之后需要立刻回到家里清理房间搬出这个
apartment,下午就出差去了。Facebook上看到road race 更新了今天的天气,73F,73
%的湿度。
吃了一个半bagel,喝了两杯橙汁,还有水。8:30我就出门跑向起点,3.5迈的热身应
该足够了。作为local的好处就是如此,熟门熟路,不用担心traffic以及停车存包等等
事宜。在bike path上快跑到起点的时候,看到了一群elite男女选手集体热身而来。知
道冠军肯定会在他们当中产生,只是同样的黑肤色让我很难分辨出来这些年轻的面孔。
还看到了昨天跑mile的elite,还和一个美女聊了几句。昨天mile跑了3:54:89的
Jordan McNamara也来了,穿着同样的绿背心。看到很多非常hot的女高中生,腿巨细。
和一个朋友聊了一会,我就主动站到了red wave的最后。这个7迈的road race有10,000

主角是一个中长跑奥运选手(Olympian) Louis Zamperini,代表美国参加1936年的柏林
奥运5000米比赛。虽然没有得奖牌,但是因为在最后一圈的神勇表现获得希特勒的欣赏
和接见。
据说Louis在这届奥运期间曾经爬上旗杆偷偷取下代表希特勒的旗子。
后来参加二战在太平洋战争期间当轰炸机投弹手。被日军击落,在海上漂流47天后靠到
日军占领的岛屿被俘。之后就是战俘营的艰难生活等等。

而且科州雪场的条件也是真的没的说!我MLK在科州滑了4天,满山密密麻麻的蘑菇吃到
饱。上周日回local主场滑,滑的都要崩溃了,全山一个蘑菇的影子都找不到。
科州的高手也多,氛围好。我在本地滑见过的蘑菇高手,一整个雪季都能用一只手数过
来。老余的视频里,fly跟Patrick Deneen一起滑过,还跟英国的Olympian滑过。
当然我偶像的天赋肯定也是很牛的,athletic, 胆量等等。各种因素加在一起造就了这
位雪神级的人物。 |

想学wc style mogul skiing很久了,迟迟没有起步是因为其他要提高的太多,总觉得
没有ready,这是我滑雪以来进步最快的一个雪季,但这个计划外的camp给我带来了最
多惊喜。Mogul Logic一年一般有两个clinic,通常是2月和3月,今年因为一些原因3月
的拖后到4月,正好赶上我的spring break放假,但周六也是gun barrel 25举行的时候
。本来我想先参加一次gunbarrel 25,当个baseline,然后系统的学习一下wc style,
再去参加一次,看看差异有多大。不过正巧遇到也想报名的Tao姐,独乐乐不如同乐乐
,不但上了camp,还同滑了几天vail。
本版雪友常推荐的mogul camp,包括mogul logic,momentum, mt hood ski camp,后
两个是summer camp,有更多的时间集中训练,mogul logic也曾经办过summer camp,

all. If I have to pick one area to enhance on, it would be her open turns.
She seems to be pulling in, took a long breath and her head was a bit high

Naturally, she excels in long distance events. The opportunity to improve
is breaststroke based on the fractions. In order to improve in any strokes,
she probably has to review some of her strokes in her videos and compares
to the Olympians. Most importantly, swimming should be fun because no one

看来美国10&Under游泳成绩同中国有相当大的差距。除了几个长距离自由泳,每种泳姿
、距离美国记录和天津记录都有很大的差距。100米每个泳姿都是差2-3秒,200米混合
泳差差不多15秒!跟中国全国记录可能更没法比。
12岁以后就完全反过来了,差距明显。 可能是国内练得早?
I wonder what happened to those 10&Under的记录保持者. 所有的个人记录都是2002
年以前的,现在应该是运动生涯巅峰的时候。同时期美国记录拥有者不少是Olympian
level的。
