从business case开始算起，看看有没有必须要transaction的，有的话多少revenue，
硬改的话损失多少。
然后算cost，
硬件，原来的服务器还能不能使，要不要买新的
软件，supporting cost多少，自己support的话，要多大的instance，多少人用，需要
多大的组维护。
人员，包括 c* 维护，schema migration, data migration, program migration,
把这些都算清楚，他们得把公司底都交给你，所以不可能真算，你只要一通神侃就完。
工作上真碰上这事，让他们去ceo办公室拿个comprehensive list，申请一个一个月的
项目做个comprehensive cost benifit analysis，完了吧报告扔给丫让丫去找头要钱

我大致看了一下，还没有操作。请问你按照你提供的这些步骤，是不是主要就是为了装
MySQL Migration toolkit? 刚发现我机器上有MySQL Migration toolkit? （version
1.1.1.2)， 但是没有MySQL workbench。－－－是不是只要有MySQL Migration
toolkit就可以转换了。（Access 2003 database to MySQL），但是这也就限制于数
据转移而已。要在网上那个实现那个Access数据系统的其他功能，我还需要做其他工作
。 是吗？

不过这次搞这个Nvidia MediaShield芯片软硬结合的RAID5也很有趣，管理工具比较完
善，不用像linux那样需要手动操作。特别是有个migration的功能很实用。买第三块硬
盘之前我的设定是1.5TBx2的RAID1。为了转成1.5TBx3 RAID5的过程中方便设定而且不
损文件，先把其中两块硬盘设成2.72TB的RAID0，32KB stripe和64KB NTFS cluster。
然后从原来degraded的RAID1里面copy了所有文件。最后把这个2.72TB的RAID0加上
degraded RAID1单盘升级成一个2.72TB的RAID5。migration本身只需要几个click，而
且这个RAID5立即可用，虽然漫长的migrating还正在进行当中(24小时完成了31%)。 |

发帖数: 5818 | 49 两个机器硬件完全不一样，OS是 win7。不想做fresh install，想保留原来的所有软件
和setting，尤其备份setting等等。
我就想试试 migrate OS，几乎成功了，但最后因外置 USB 不工作，做repair install
win7时 功亏一篑。
是这样，新机器HD 挂在 旧机器外置硬盘，做migrate OS，就像更新SSD那样，然后，
装回新机器，启动，win7
真启动了，但被认为是 none genuine，显卡，网卡和 pic usb 都不工作，有意思的是
usb 的鼠标和键盘 可以工作一会儿，用用就 freeze。
装上 driver，显卡，网卡，pic 等等全正常，只剩 usb 工作不正常，试了几个driver
都不行，win7还是 none genuine，就想试试做 repair／update install，还可保留原
有各
种data 等。但发现 update install 只能在已 启动的 win7 里进行，不能通过外置 启
动实现；repair 一直有问题，后来不知怎么，机器连 硬盘都不认了，只能外置启动。
