clone winzard里，source盘死活不能选择指定分区啊，只能选整个硬盘。。。我源盘
比ssd大，根本就没发clone。

Honestly I know of no clean way to migrate an OS from one hard drive to the
other. Maybe other old birds can help. I tried copy pasting my entire c
drive once. It did not work as planned. |

transfer/copy/migrate it to another SQL Server in domain B. The problem is
that even I can access SQL Server A from .NET visual studio project in domain
B, I cannot find it when I try to register it in SQL Server in domain B. The
instance of server A is simply not in the list in enterpise manager.
Then, I tried to backup the specific database in SQLSERVER A and tried to

这里的大侠们有什么好方法传送数据? 要是都是SQL Server,我一般就set up database
mirror， replication or log shipping什么的。但是我用oracle挺少，而且看好多
tables都没有update timestamp所以想ETL也很难做incremental load. 目前想
1.SSMS做一次性的load, 然后弄个snapshot, bump up sequences in sql server
2.Cut over time的时候，Bring down Oracle, bring up sql server, 然后用个data
compare的软件compare 那个sql server的snapshot和Oracle database, generate一个
compare script, 然后apply到sql server prod 上去。
不知道这样行不行？还有没有更好的方法呢？或者有什么好的da... 阅读全帖 |

DOWNTIME，俺以前是BCP OUT， BCP IN的，会有DATATYPE NULL之类的问题，先弄个
TEST SERVER，LOAD起来，TEST能用了问题都解决了，然后再准备PRODUCTION。我纳闷
你的SQL SERVER TEST了没有，换系统哪里那么容易，换过去APPLICATION不RUN还得换
回来。LOL |

现在很多SSD卖的时候带migration kit = Acronis True Imgage光盘 + USB硬盘盒，方
法和你是一样的，不过软件更正式，很多promotion的时候kit和裸盘价格差了3，4块钱
而已
我的Kingston V100当时就是这样
不过克隆出来SSD的WEI只有5.9，后来重装一遍好歹有6.8 |

现在有一特长控制流程较复杂的MS SQL Server SP 需要改写.
简单来说就是使用标准的JDBC SQL,不使用Stored Procedure.
这样一来,似乎:
1.复杂的控制流程只能在客户端的Java代码实现
2.需要多次(执行SQL/处理结果)的iteration.似乎这样性能会比使用SP降低不少?

建议移转到一ID为中心的管理方式
ID分群， 群设群主， 每个ID注册伊始就分配群主一名。
每名群主上限管理（服务）100名ID
群主上设置团， 团长一名， 每个团长限服务群主5人
这样， 服务更到位， 工作量分配更均匀， 避免了版面中心方式很多
弊端： 比如有些版面萧条不堪， 也有许多版务， 有的版面繁荣无比，
缺只有少许版务
群主服务ID， 更了解ID需求， 服务更到位
这么好的主意， 呵呵 |

怎么说呢？太美了，无论画面还是音乐，无法用语言形容，真实应了那句话：此曲(画面)
只应天上有。
具体的一些例子---
1.强烈的视觉效果。
例子一：
一只(有时几只)天鹅或大雁类的鸟，从屏幕左面进来，头和身体和腿成一直线(非常直，
拉伸的己厉害，象体操运动员，或子弹)，平行于地面，屏幕上除了一只(偶尔几只)鸟别
无他物。这只鸟进入屏幕的同事强烈的冲击人的视觉和脑子，给人以很强的震撼。
例子二：
鸟冲到海里去捕鱼。镜头开始是一群鸟在海面上盘旋。突然有一只象箭一样射进水中，抓
起一条鱼。它的身体呈三角行，一个角(头部)垂直快速射进水里，跟周围慢速盘旋的鸟形

由于问题是处在migration的过程，所以尝试一步步的migrate：
1. 重装干净的系统，升级到最新状态
2. migration的时候不要选applications（怀疑某程序是病因，但不知确切是哪个），
结果成功migrate了个人文档
3. 再migrate application，结果立马重现死机
所以证实出于某种原因，applications里面有兼容问题。所以最终的解决方案是：
1. 重装干净的系统，升级到最新状态
2. migration的时候不要选applications， 只migrate了个人文档（会使系统看起来和
老系统一样）
3. 手动重装所有application。有点多，但是弄一天还是基本弄完了。
话说重装windows反正也是要做这些的，还多了个装驱动的过程。对比之下也不算太麻
烦，只是以前从没出过这个问题，用mac时间长了变懒了~~ :) |
