作者1953年就去世了。直到中苏交恶，并爆发珍宝岛边界冲突后，苏修才“突然”发现
并出版了这本日记。这本所谓延安日记，到底多少是在延安写的，多少是在莫斯科写的
，一直都有争议。
1973年，当年考察延安的美军观察团成员John S.Service就曾撰写长文给有意出版该书
的Doubleday出版社，指出该书有诸多发明历史之嫌疑，对该书“真实性”提出质疑，
因为Vladimirov在延安只是被边缘化的角色（on the fringe of things），而不是像
书中绘声绘色所描述的那样，能随意了解到中共高层决策内幕。
也正是因为当事人的质疑，所以Doubleday出版社在出版该书时，特别声明“出版社未
能看到俄文日记的原始文档”，并注明，

上海电视节昨天公布“白玉兰”奖海外电视剧大奖获奖名单，金奖由热门美国剧《国土安全》摘取。这部剧在中国也有很多观众追捧，然而如果这部剧直接从字面意思翻译就是Homeland（祖国），估计观众会认为这是部讲美国爱国题材的电视剧，那这样又能吸引多少人去看、去讨论呢？所以，名字，是一件很重要的事情，美剧的中文剧名直接影响了它在华语界的收视率。
翻译太直白不可取
如果《妙警贼探》直译为《白领》？
说美剧，绕不过《Friends》（直译为“朋友们”）这部播出十年的长青剧集，在片名翻译上各版本差异并不大，无外乎《六人行》或《老友记》。这也折射了目前国内美剧片名的两种译法：意译和直译。
从当下趋势来看，意译为主，再辅以关键词的片名，更容易叫人记住。

且不说这个记者的英语水平，即使稍有生物学常识也不应该犯这个错误。试问一个人身

最近一个国内合作者想把他的学生送到我实验室待两年。本来是国内全部承担费用的。
但是跟我们这边的秘书一合计发现，交换学生不能享受学校benefit。如果我自己付一
部分钱的话（~$7000 salary+fringe），这学生就能用学校的benefit，比如保险和免
费乘公交车commute一类的。大家觉得应该付这个钱，让学生安心工作么。学生素质还
不错，本科研究生都是top 2的。待的时间也能比较长。 |
