设置router的时候，2.4G和5g分别设置一个ssid，假设网卡也支持dual band（3t3r）
，是不是只要连上了5g对应的ssid，就能在2.4g和5g之间自动转换了？
比如linksys e4500，如果是2.4g和5g都工作，最大速度是不就是900mbps？单独链接2.
4g或5g则最高速度450mbps？ |

考虑是linux host + win guest
还是dual boot
用windows主要是
1. office
2. 万一回国，网银之类
3. 我目前用mint，在有些网络环境遇到过wifi巨慢的问题
4. 有些网络会议系统要装插件，对linux支持普遍不好
dual boot觉得浪费硬盘空间，win自己加上预留的空间，估计60GB没了
而且要处理office还得reboot
用vm万一遇到wifi问题就废了，而且硬盘空间也要不少
而且不知道ssd上用vm有没有什么要注意的？
有什么建议没？ |

I am now thinking make the machine dual boot, XP and Linux. (both are 64-bit)
Since Linux is preinstalled, I plan to use the XP CD to format the HDs. BTW:
I have two HDs.
While I restart by CD, after some copying, I was told it can not find the
Hard Disks!
Does anyone know what I am doing wroing? How to make the Dual boot? Thanks

情况有些曲折，大概是这样的：
最早只有一个winXP，后来又装了个win7组成winXP & win7 dual boot系统。最近把
winXP分区（硬盘的第一个分区）格式化后装上了Ubuntu 11.10。可是Grub2 boot menu
里面没有win7的条目。我尝试了多种恢复方法，比如用win7安装盘进入recovery选项，
然后用bootrec命令，结果都不行。
怎么做才能修复win7 bootloader呢？

的业余时间作实验，课题进展很顺利，现在准备在NIH申请课题，因为这个课题从设计
到实验，都是由我独自完成，老板说我们可以一起申请grant,请问象我这样的情况，是
以dual PI 好，还是以co-investigator好？我听说PI，co-PI和dual PI 都不能从
grant里给自己发工资，但co-investigator可以，不知是否是真的？请版上高人指教。

现在65nm很成熟了，45nm的东西都陆陆续续出来的。正在开发的是32nm。22nm已经开始
研究了。再往下谁也不知道能做到什么程度。
从performance来讲，single core 2G的cpu > 1G Dual core的cpu > single core 1G
的cpu。类似的4 Core比Dual core要好，6 core会比 4 core好。但是继续往上就很难
说了，主要取决于芯片的设计和软件的支持。很有可能20 core会比16 core差。 |

看。我就画了block diagram，正要说怎么控制over/underflow，对方就说这些都不重
要，最难设计的就是那个dual port SRAM，我愕然，因为之前都不知道这个是难点。
我想问的是，怎么才能在学习中注意这个难点，或者说这类难点呢？因为像Asyn FIFO
，我没上过课，是自学的，就是google些相关的paper大概看一下，然后再看些HDL的例
子。在这些例子里面，dual port SRAM都是以很简单的形式出现，几句HDL就完成了这
个block，以至于我以为这样就OK了...
希望大家能指点下，在学习VLSI相关的技术时，怎样才能注意到这种在industry也许是
常识，但我这种闭门造车的人却忽视的细节呢？有些什么比较好的资源，或者学习方法
上要注意的呢？

上下凸轮不同步的问题，比较麻烦。
听说都得过一阵子就找专人给做一次synchronize，这个，得多久做一次呢？如果比较
频繁，也是不小的花费。
很奇怪为什么不用single cam呢？single cam没有同步问题，简单很多。虽说缺点是不
容易做到很快的ibo speed，但是像infinite edge这样的弓本来也不算超快的，用
single cam应该没问题啊。
diamond系列的更贵一点的比如core，就是用single cam。很不解为什么更便宜的edge
反而是dual cam。 |
