【1】 看到不少人说这本书如何“猛料”，事实上，这本书援引的资料基本上全部是公
开发行的出版物，当然有些资料是作者留意收集的，譬如八十年代初解放军政治学院，
解放军军事科学院还有江西省档案馆等出版的一些历史文献集，这些东西以后都没有再
版（其实留意一下国内的旧书摊，能淘到不少这样的出版物，一般没什么人看，当然在
需要的人眼里都是宝贝，我在北京的旧书摊上买到过机密级别的八十年代初的内部文件
集，应该是当年朱镕基机构改革时，被裁撤的部委当废纸卖的）；
【2】 高华在这部书里并没有进行第一手资料的采集（譬如采访当事人的口述历史），
相比较， Apter 和 Saich 那本 Revolutionary Discourse in Mao's Republic 在八
十年代中的时候采访了一百五十个人。（Apter 和 Saich 采访过的很多经历过延安整
风运动的人在提及整风运动时并不愤怒而是很怀念或者仍然认为延安整风运动是正确的

题，也是一个政治学问题，决定希腊和罗马文明的崛起和衰落这些历史事件背后的规律
以及在制度上的成败得失，是近代西方政治哲学所非常关注的问题之一。Machiavelli
的最重要的著作(不是最著名的著作，但我个人认为是他份量 最重– 不管是按重量计
算还是按重要性和深度计算 - 的一部著作)Discourses on Livy（《论李维》这部书在
国内已经有译本了，豆瓣上查到一个版本由上海人民出版社出版，不知翻译质量如何）
针对Livy罗马史的前十卷，对罗马早期历史进行了研究，并提出了共和制度的核心机制
：遏制与平衡（check and balance）。也就是今天我们常常挂在嘴边的制衡。

考证完毕朱学勤先生的第七章第五节，与小女子上次考证的第八章第五节结果一样，基
本完全（本节共8页，四小段除外）来自Blum一书，惊讶得说不出话了。那就什么都不
说了。黑色字体为朱原文，红色字体为本人考证内容。本节朱文共使用了9个脚注，也
很巧合，这9个脚注在Blum一书中均出现，引用的内容与 Blum一书也完全相同，而且，
本节的脚注只有一个提到了Blum。而从考证的内容看，其实本节都是来源于Blum。因此
，抄袭成立。
第七章第五节 内外禁锢——舆论划一与道德对抗
罗伯斯庇尔上台之时，正是巴黎经受革命道德清洗之际。

留学美国，不是一个人的故事能够概括的，何况很多有着辛酸与成功经历的
predecessors早已对这一话题有过充分的阐述。比如，某个女博士用7年时间从某理工
科PhD转到Law School读JD，最后找到理想工作，但却失去了爱情，逝去了青春的故事
；以及某个十万男，拿着滕校学位，经历各种竞争淘汰，拿到华尔街某银行高薪工作后
，发现蛋疼，生不出孩子，老婆吵着要离婚的故事；当然，也还有某高材生，被骗回国
，拿着空头支票，后悔不已，遂跳楼自尽的故事；还有多年前发生在本校的某孤僻天才
怪男，打手枪，和自己的中国师弟，以及美国教授同归于尽的故事。
我来美国才一年半，尽管租了房，买了车，总算适应了Iowa City这个中西部小城的生
活和环境，可很多经历和想法仍还处于发展阶段，也还没有上述提到的那些曲折精彩浪

日媒体界朋友谈到国内新闻传媒界及胡舒立，我也想起了1年前写的这篇文章，
特此决定公开。］
近日，国内新闻传播学界的几位学者朋友，在和我聊到国内学术界时，向我
提及中山大学传播与设计学院院长胡舒立的“博导”头衔问题，认为她没有任何
学术成果，没有资格做博导，但由于胡舒立在媒体界的“女沙皇”地位，大家敢
怒不敢言。他们随后给我打包发来了她所发表过的文章，指出这些都不是学术论
文。
对于胡舒立2009年就任中山大学传播与设计学院院长一事，当年媒体作了很
多报道。在我的印象中，全国较好的新闻传播院所，有人大、复旦、传媒大学、
社科院、清华、北大、武大、华中科大、川大、浙大、厦大这几家。中山大学的
新闻传播在前几年刚起步，当时中山大学以百万经费引进胡舒立，轰动一时，应
该是中山大学想以她在媒体界的名声来引得关注，但新闻传播学术界对此任命是

我在读我最喜欢的其中一位当代作家杰夫・戴尔(Geoff Dyer)的新作《地带》(
Zona)。这本书的主题听起来非常无味----关于安德列・塔科夫斯基(Andrei
Tarkovsky)的电影《潜行者》(Stalker)的随笔----但幸运的是，像戴尔的大部分作品
一样，它其实讲述的是作者自己：他的痴迷，他的恐惧，他越来越强烈的（还总是讨人
欢喜的）疯狂感。这本书全靠作者的声音将其撑起，这本身就是一个成就。
