开了新闻发布会，宣布Cypress凶杀案悬赏额度因社区捐款而从$5,000追加至$70,000。
哈里斯县警长加西亚（Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia）、Clear Channel
Outdoor、和休斯敦华裔联盟（Houston Chinese Alliance，简称HCA）的代表参加了新
闻发布会。悬赏金来源包括Crime Stoppers，Cameron International 公司，和社区的
捐款。
加西亚警官在发布会上称：案发时间已经被确定缩小至1月24日星期五晚上7点（孙茂业

看了Way LaPierre 辩论 Rebecca Peters 的视频，我很奇怪Rebecca抖数据里一个很明
显的逻辑漏洞为什么Way 没有指出来。
Rebecca 总是强调：禁枪之后，英国和澳大利亚的 gun crime 急剧下降，表明禁枪是
有效的。后面观众提问的时候一个禁枪大胖子号称自己是researcher，也持这个论点：
London禁枪之后 gun crime 急剧下降。Rebecca还提了好几次 英国被枪杀的只有86（
记不清具体数字，反正<100），而美国是11,000.
这个禁枪导致 gun crime 降低，然后就推论出禁枪对大家好的推论是有很严重的逻辑
漏洞的。
枪支只是工具，有没有枪犯罪分子都会犯法，单独讨论 gun crime 数量的增减毫无意
义。从理论上说，禁枪必然导致 gun crime 降低，就像禁刀必然导致砍人事件的减少。

我真服了你了，又发明出“政治狂人”“妖蛾子”这样的理由。反正对你的观点不利的
问题（比如持枪和犯罪成本及某些数据等），你或者忽略，或者找一些莫名其妙的理由
来塘塞。
你居然说我对 http://goo.gl/UWihU 的解释是断章取义，真是没读我前面的解释啊！首先，在没有参照物的情况下，离禁枪日期太远的数据无法说明禁枪的成效，因为很可能是其他如经济、贫富等因素影响的。并且因为在禁枪前该曲线已在增加，禁枪后继续增加也不能严格地说明是禁枪造成的这个增加。所以我认为这个图既不能说明禁枪有效，也不能说明禁枪无效。
那两个城市的例子因为有全美国的平均犯罪率作为参照，几十年下来得出的结论要科学
得多。
就算你认为太多因素（所谓的“政治狂人”“妖蛾子”等）影响，使得两个城市的数据
对你来说不可信，那么你又回到了起点，还是没有数据或道理证明禁枪有助于降低犯罪。

我不知道其他人是怎么定位学生会的，在我看来，学生会就是Purdue学生组织起来的
一个互助团体，仅此而已。学生会有义务尽其可能的为每个遇到麻烦，寻求帮助的人提
供帮助，但没权利也没立场去代表和被代表谁谁谁。低调的，尽其可能的去帮助那些寻
求帮助的人，除此之外不去做多余的惹人不快的事情，这是学生会应该做的，也是学生
会一直做的。每周都会有几封信发给我或者cssa邮箱寻求帮助，我们也都会尽可能的去
帮助他们，提出建议，寻找资源，甚至我还数次由咸湿大叔化身知心妈妈之类的角色（
-_-!），但我们从来没有也不想去越俎代庖的帮人做出决定之类的东西，更不会像版上
的某些人一样拿着别人的不幸说个没完了！将心比心的想一想：谁出门在外没遇到过什
么麻烦啊，都是中国人，能帮就帮了，帮完不就结了？不图知恩图报之类的东西，只图
个，自己心安，社会和谐。或者最多自己YY一下：丫，又认识更多的人了，以后出门吃
