legs. Climbers or all around cyclists have leaner legs but definitely not
without strong muscles either.
Cycling is the best way to get rid of fat on your legs and shape/tone up
your leg muscles. Legs are what cyclists are most proud of.
But, pro cyclist does subject to the danger of losing bone mass since
cycling is not an impact sport and they spent a lot of time on bikes. For us

doing this than some people crossing the street, simply because they are
some of the best climbers in the world. I have soloed routes where if I fell
off I would die. I don't have a death wish, I just know my limit and what I
can handle.

We have a group of Chinese people here doing group rides in the weekends but
we are "recreational", i.e.,
slow-medium pace and frequent regrouping. If you are a cat3, you need to
find a fast group to ride with.
Check out Cal's cycling team schedule and you can probably hook up with them
. I've heard a number of
"hammerfest" group rides in east bay in the summer evenings and one of them
is Berkeley hill repeats at

体重差 15 公斤,力量差 60 瓦特不成問題。保守估算這兩人的速度是 30 和 31 mph,
31 公里下來差距是 1:15. FOCUS 的 TT 車沒甚麼特殊的,ryder 的 P5 必能完勝。

It's hard to believe Sky's performance in TDF this year. They dropped the
climbing specialists in the mountains and demolished TT specialists in TT.
And it's not only Wiggins or Froome --- it's the whole team. When did you
see Mick Rogers climb so good and so consistent? Remember he's 33 years old.
He was a TT specialist, never a climber. |

坡陡了确实很难保持高踏频,爬坡的总体频率是要比平路低,差不多10到20rpm左右吧,
就我的体会,爬坡踏频低于80,基本就意味着trouble,
但很多时候没办法,坡陡,gear ratio不能再小,只能grinding up,
这也是为什么,不少serious的climber 都备有只少两套gear, 如果是爬山的ride就上
小gear.
至于说腿弱不弱,看跟谁比,我等之流,基本都可以说离腿强差的远。 |

上半身练习。PUSH UPS,负重SHOULDER PRESS,躺下CHEST PRESS,两个腹部动作,还有
就是提高心肺的小练习。
4月28号。跑步35分钟。因为到GYM跟人聊天浪费了时间。
4月29号
全身练习,负重深蹲,负重LUNGES,ABS练习,还有用器械练身侧的肌肉群。
4月30号
周六,没有练习。中午又吃了肯德基。不过克制自己,没有吃所有的鸡皮。
五月一号。
周日。第一次在家里娃睡了以后,做了三组动作:
Push ups
squats
Side plank
Hill climbers
Reverse crunch
Alternating Forward lunges(20 reps each leg)
出了一身汗.
五月2号
周一.这周工作都爆忙.晚上回家做了三组:
dips
Squat jumps
Plank)
Burpes
Leg raise

根据我看网上文章,sit up, crunch对背部都没啥好影响
burn fat最管用的是躺地上,两腿空中自行车
要长腹肌,悬垂举腿
进一步说,6块腹肌好看不好用
好用的是core strength
这个完全可以靠plank,mountain climber,甚至俯卧撑来练
要上难度,可以练handstand,human flag, dragon flag
总之我比较cheap
能不花钱用body weight的就不花那钱了 |

1. For any male who lifts weights regularly with some flexibility/stability
exercise, I don't see why hand stand can produce better muscle/strength gain.
2. I have a lot of respect for rowers, who are usually very tough. But
rowing depends on lower body much more than upper body, if done correctly.
3. For a fit climber, the strength-wise bottleneck is fingers/forearms.

press own body weight.
There are tons of sport specific exercises that produce strength gain, and
they might be good for cross training. But it doesn't mean simple pull/push
with weights can be replaced if the goal is muscle/strength gain. For that,
bodyweight is not enough in many big muscle groups workouts.

You can build beyond human strength by using leverage in holding static
positions on top of other training, this is the reason why gymnasts have
huge muscles and enormous body weight to strength ratio.
