技术方面就不提了，反正网上都有，八卦为主。
本来呢，这次计划很美好，5天时间呆在Boston Basin，先后爬Forbidden Peak/West
Ridge, Mt Torment / S Ridge, Mt Buckner/N Face, 一个CC，一个Ice Credit，啥都
齐了。
结果还是计划赶不上变化，周三早上六点赶到Ranger Station，领队说Cascade Pass天
气大差，雷暴加上雨天，要不大家找个石头cragging几天算了。同学们很不甘心地一路
往东开，先开到Washington Pass，早上下雨石头还没干，远方一团雷暴云正在酝酿中
。接着往东开到Mazama Rocks，说不然crag一天打道回府。几个人都是好不容易腾出来
五天时间的，哪能这么甘心束手就擒呀，在小店里头喝咖啡的时候就有人提议说要不咱
们一直再往东开，开到大提顿公园去爬大提顿吧。几个人面面相觑地互相打量打量，就

still grudgeing about how I can easily go over some crux while she has to
struggle just because I am tall. We also have a short guy who can boulder V5
but in rare cases he can climb some V3s. Simply just because he can not
reach the next hold even when he fully opens his arms. But there are also
routes which are very unfriendly to tall guys, especially in boulder

防晒，防晒，防晒！我已经每几个小时补了防晒霜,一有空就拿个防晒sticker在脸上乱
涂一通了，可是上山和下山肤色还是差太多了！

，我们来回走了有差不多18
miles，elevation gain is 4800 feet。10个人中，我竟然算走的快的，第三个到达大
石头，只可惜天生怕高，加
上石头上要排队等三个小时才能登顶，最终没能登顶一览众山小啊。下一次去爬half
dome的话，一定要做back
packing，然后一早从back packer camping site出发登顶，这样在时间上占点优势，
不用和别人挤。
这次照片照的不太多，大多数时候都在闷头苦爬，连背包里的相机都有些懒得拿出来。
中途胡乱钦了几张，学习
Ansel Adams，把照片作成了伪黑白，看看效果如何。

analogy. If you have done something extremely difficult, then are you going
to do it again just because somebody won't believe you have done it? You can
ask any climber who may just climbed mount everest last month, or last year
whether they want to do it again. I bet not many of them will want to do it

10公里或更远，是看不到的。
加拿大做的比美国更好，最美的几个景点，根本就没有公路(哪怕是土路)进去。
所以和中国的玩法完全不一样。在美国开车转一圈，如果最美的地方打十分的话，一般
你只看到了1，2分的地方。就好比去黄山，只能到慈光阁，云谷寺。以此评价黄山，是
不全面的。
以美国的做法，最多有TRAIL让你爬10公里到玉屏楼，西海而已。绝对不会把路修到莲
花峰顶的，在北美，那是CLIMBER才能享受的景致。 |
