去工作就会失去保险,或买高价的商业保险,甚至买不到。现在Obamacare让中产交更
多的医保premium,换取失业时还可以有保险。
假定一切说的都是真的,而且这个体系不会崩溃,那多交的保险费就等于是在原医保的
基础上又买了一份保险,去保你买好的那份医保不会丢掉。
从保险角度看,这份“保险的保险”是否保费太高?一般你买个财产保险,保险费是保
额的百分之几,因为毕竟保的是小概率事件。现在这个Obamacare蕴含的“保险的保险
”,其“保险费”也就是新旧医保premium的差额,估计都超过了这个原医保的premium
的100%了,这显然不合理。
但如果你算被保的东西是失去医保且花钱也买不到医保时生大病的开销,这个比例倒也
不大,只不过这里保的是小概率的小概率了。也就是说,如果你是个非常risk-averse

原计划是买一辆比较新的二手车。于是先买了CARFAX的一个月帐号,用来查旧车的VIN
Number。主要在两个地点搜旧车信息,cartrader.com和craiglist,关于买车的tips,
主要是在edmund's上学习。本人近年锻炼出了强大的google搜索本领。搜到了不少有用
的网站。如下:

因为身居小镇,好的deal不多,我一开始非常肯定自己会去ATL附近的大dealer买车,
后来又发现大的dealer车贵一些,于是搜到不少 used car dealer的车子。我是risk

当然买私人车肯定更划算,代价如lz所说,第一得花时间找,泡craigslist,第二会有
风险,车主可能不告诉你一些潜在问题。dealer一般都会自己检查一遍,该修的修好,
同时还带一个月保修。所以,懂车的和比较risk neutral的,还是买私车好,女生、新
手、极度risk averse的,强烈建议dealer买旧车,几百块钱买个放心省心。 |

是如果付了很高的保费,那么一定要是以后真出了事情用上了保险才叫物有所值,不然
