星”直升机存在着一些严重的缺陷，即使是最新收到的两架新机也不例外。
厄空军介绍称，在之前收到的直升机中，已经有一架坠毁，还有两架因发动机控制装置
出现故障而迫降。
厄空军抱怨称，“北极星”直升机不但使用和维护起来非常困难，而且印方提出的维修
报价也让人难以接受。据悉，在厄空军准备对导致迫降事故的直升机部件进行维修时，
一家美国公司的报价仅为10万美元，而印方的报价则高达25万美元。除此之外，印度现
在还将“北极星”直升机的报价提高至1200万美元。
厄瓜多尔空军已通知印度政府，由于“北极星”直升机在价格和保养方面存在不少问题
，同时飞行技术性能较差且售后保障不佳，其已考虑取消继续采购该型直升机的计划。
有专家认为，厄瓜多尔空军在使用“北极星”直升机过程中遭遇的种种问题可能会对印
度开拓南美航空市场的计划产生严重阻碍。或许，此前有意购买“北极星”直升机的哥
