A financial statement that an auditor has prepared, but not according to the
Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). Auditors preparing unaudited
statements are required to issue a disclaimer stating that they are not
rendering opinions and that the statement does not abide by the GAAS.
Unaudited statements are subject to less rigorous standards than audited
statements and, as such, are more prone to errors. |

发帖数: 9084 | 2 ”去年的确有公司以这个为借口不配合SEC调查“ 这个而是指auditor公司,去年德勤以
违法中国法律为由拒绝提供东南融通的文件,然后sec对德勤很震怒. edu上次配合调查
只是提供了vie关系转换的文件，不涉及账务。账务问题是edu自己的独立董事会做出的
no significant evidence的结论，sec没有参与。
现在sec要调查9个大陆上市公司，会计事务所拒绝提供文件，所以sec把auditor告了。
哪9个公司现在不知道。即使不在9个公司之列，如果中美谈不拢，最差最差情况是，
sec以无法监管大陆公司账务为理由，把大陆公司都退市。当然这情况很难发生，毕竟
美国很多投资也在中钙上。另外即使退市，也应该是私有化。
anyway, 这个是针对全体中钙，edu只是之一. 另外我觉的sec挺有可能要求看edu帐的
，毕竟edu今年被MW质疑了.

发帖数: 3672 | 9 聽mass save的energy auditor說過, 他看過有的老房子是完全沒有insulation的, 燒
油房並不能拿insulation rebate(up to$1500), 因為rebate是由gas company提供, 前
提是房屋必須為gas heat.
National Grid倒是有個insulation contractor list, 只有list上做的才允許rebate,
應該不太差, 可以參考. 找人估價是不用錢的, 找離家近的問問. 記得當初找一家叫
Anderson insulation, 另一家Green Stamp, 其他忘了.
他們和auditor查看方法差不多, 最普遍的是用測溫攝影, 用溫差來"透視"牆內有多少
insulation, 在室內外溫差大的時候影像效果最好, 所以等天冷再測可能比較理想. |

总觉得这个美国制度的巨大缺陷
就好比当初wikileak的原理一样，那么多机密随便一个能上cable的小兵都能看到
这边招个auditor一个月也就给你一点点工资，你也就签个Non Disclosure而已 |

我在这家公司的LA office做auditor, 可以内部递简历.
要求如下:
1. Specialize in auditing,prefer至少有一个busy season of audiing经验
2. CPA license or CPA exam passed;
3. Other Big 3 employees preferred, but not required. 身边不少从local CPA
firm跳来做senior的例子.
4. Bachelor or master degree
5. 可以sponsor H1B，好多associate都办了工签
6. 不能relocate到Los Angeles的童鞋勿扰.

我认识tax auditor, 好像这种经常亏损的restaurant owner, 经营多年一直都是没赚
钱的，本身就是重点audit对象。IRS可不是吃素的，哪里有那么容易让他们这样逃税？
我听说过的中餐馆audit, auditor本人随机坐镇餐馆两天，要所有的供应商单据，这样
来算出生意额。供应商也不敢在audit中造假，因为随时惹祸上身，犯不着为了个小餐

我这个账户是mit上买的,然后我买来换了机票.
我现在账户不能登陆进去, 可是奇怪的是机票还在,输入confirmation number,票还在
我名下,而且我还可以自由选座位.
上个月ua auditor关闭了我的账户,但是我连续查了一个月,还还在, 而且昨天打客服也
说票是正常的,但是要我电话联系ua auditor验证账户信息,没说删除票的事情.

光看了个影评就看到硬伤了。这编剧对街上发生经济案件的处理程序不是很清楚啊，搞
个FBI侦探来纯粹是搞drama啊。
Broker/Dealer都要注册受SEC监管的，是SEC派人查先，认为有Fraud嫌疑了才会叫FBI
来。这些都是发生在公司停止交易，file bankruptcy以后。公司要还在actively
trading，FBI侦探不会出现的，能够出现骚扰他们的只有external auditor和SEC的
auditor。

助该生到初中毕业为止，无需每年重新申请。这是考虑到捐款人都有帮助指定学生完成
学业的愿望，OCEF相信这样做能够从一定程度上增加贫困家庭对学生完成学业的信心。
在捐款人积极支持下，2003-2004年度已有超过500名学生获得“一对一” 捐款人的定
向资助。
7月4日 2004年年度监察工作结束，未发现学校挪用助学金情况。OCEF监察员周忠民老
师完成了历时三个多月的实地探访。周老师在宁夏、山西、陕西、河南、湖
南、江西、广西、吉林、黑龙江等省份，共走访20多个OCEF资助点、超过40间学校和
500多个贫困学生家庭，最后从黑龙江回到北京。在这期间，他跋山涉水，历尽

我现在公司的general auditor,就是内审部门的老大, 就不是CPA,而且也没有public
firm的经验, 这位老兄就是financial analyst开始进公司,然后做到accounting
manger, 然后做到controller, 然后就做general auditor了.
还有一个例子,我公司一个很大的分部的Controller,也不是CPA, 也是最低的staff
accountant做起,做到现在的controller, 他所有的certificate也就一个CMA而已. |

这两天 auditcommittee meeting开完了，马上要press release.可怜那
些auditor又要转战另一家。
一般大公司会有internal auditor，但也要出差。小公司就直接outsourcing给local

说上海4大里面有4000多auditors在外面找工作. 一个小破公司找internal auditor,
竟然有七八百4大的投简历. 给我的感觉非常夸张啊.
版上没有什么工作经验想回去找工作的要小心了. |
