发帖数: 424 | 5 昨天在Leesburg的267号公里，接近Dulles机场的地方，我开到80mph，限速是65mph，过
一个不是很急弯道的时候，我打方向盘，结果车失控，撞到旁边一辆Pickup，撞的很重
，我的车撞废了，那个Pickup被撞的180度掉头然后碰到路边的桥墩，Pickup的司机好像
脖子受伤了，被担架抬走。所幸我车里的人都没事。
我买的保险里，BODILY INJURY LIABILITY(EACH PERSON/EACH OCCURRENCE)是$30,000/
$60,000，PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY是$25,000。不知道我的保险够不够cover那个司
机的医药费？
然后警察给我一张Reckless Driving Accident的传票，明年初上庭。我查了一下Reckl
ess Driving在Virginia罚得很重，最高罚到$3000，外加坐牢一年，吊销驾照半年。
所以请教一下各位，我需不需要请个律师？估计我的案子应该挺重的。如果请律师的话
，推荐一个比较好的律师吧。
PS, 我是新手，刚拿到驾照一个月，之前没有不良记录。

Sports climbing大部分的事故都是gri-gri或者其它稀奇古怪的belay device的问题。
最简单的ATC没出过问题
Trad climbing最常出现的问题是device pull-out + runout。device pull-out我身边
一起爬的人也不时发生过，但如果不runout，而且properly backed up也没出过问题
头盔救了很多人的命
day climb不带头灯，走丢；即使call rescue，别人都找不到你。尤其是经验不足的人
无法按时完成climb，再没带头灯。这两个有显著correlation会出事
rappel accident很多，rappel anchor出问题，rappel off end都有
rock/glacier climbing 落石造成的事故很常见
self arrest失败造成长距离滑坠
出发之前查天气预报是必做的功课。dayhike camp muir都有人风暴里冻死的
还有，free solo的事故基本都是fatal |

accidents on their way home from climbs. Fatigue + sleep deprivation + late
night sent a lot of ppl to hell. John Bachar almost died from a few years
ago.

landed and huge traffic line built up. Only learned about the accident later
the night on local TV news. |

landing location.
As for the broken handhold, the climbing day was warm & sunny, in perfect
condition, but the previous day was raining hard. The sandstone in Red Rocks
needs at least 24 hours to dry out back to good condition. I fear that this
had something to do with the accident. The rock quality in Red Rocks is not that
good. Many times when lowering down or rappelling, foot stepping on rock easily

hold, it has pretty much nothing to do with the climber.
Checking every holds, and never run out minimize risks, but it also means
you have to climb WELL below your limit, and never step out of G rating. But
that also takes a good deal of fun out of climbing, doesn't it.
Finding the right balance is hard.

they are world-class climbers, sometimes I thought: I wouldn't make that
kind of stupid mistakes.
After I had my own one, I had a totally different perspective: there are
real RISK in climbing, and there is a real possibility I could die, or even
worse, get paralyzed from it.
I hope everyone can realize the same thing. |

regardless “ski at your own risk” or not.
Even if it is “ski at your own risk”, the patrol still has a duty to make
sure you two exchange info if there is a reported accident. Particularly if

始她感觉很意外，是我抱着她放进去的,进去之后没有很fuzzy,看到我关上笼子门就很
警觉地盯着我，但她实在太乖了，只是可怜巴巴地望着。。。晚上看完avata人回来看
到她，哇，不得了，激动的挠着笼子，一放出来就抱着我哇哇大叫，狂闻狂舔。我还以
为她会从此恨死那个笼子了。。。不过晚上笼子是放在卧室里的，所以她就很安心地跟
着我进卧室睡了，而且还是自己爬进crate的。
笼子里面放着她的毯子和玩具，她闻着味道似乎就知道是自己睡觉的地方了。
这几天在我的严密监视下，还没有出过accident,挺开心的。但是depression还是比较
严重，等明天再来跟大家伙讨教讨教。这几天把我折腾够呛 |

我家俩猫刚来的时候，雪碧有ringworm，我每天擦药喂药折腾了好几周，觉得差不多好
了的时候，发现可乐居然传染上了，当时我一时怒的，拍了雪碧好几下。。。雪碧真是
可怜。。。我也是内疚半天。。。
后来俩猫一起拉肚子，我一开门发现满地毯都是的时候，也是一下头就大了，但想想俩
孩子身体不舒服更可怜呐，有啥话都咽肚子里，有啥力气都用来擦地毯吧。。。
刚开始相处，其实双方都容易stress，猫猫狗狗可能会accident会病，人也是容易焦虑
，磨合磨合，相互都熟悉起来就容易多了 |

我好像对狗狗的accident比较认命，一般就去搽掉，收拾干净就完了。小狗刚回来时，
还特容易闹肚子，半夜起来洗狗笼也好几次。我比较烦我老公乱给狗狗吃东西，冒火也
只对某人吼。
家里多准备wipes,和清洗nn,pp的东西，清洁起来快捷方便，就没那么大压力。
Potty training对我家狗狗来说，过程很简单。现在要去大大小小的，它基本都会跑到
你面前，喊两声，然后在门口等着。
狗狗天天长大，你会发现，新毛病和新状况常有，但都慢慢地调理过来，越来越成为一
只好狗狗！ |

在浴缸里一次，今天早晨poop在了litterbox旁边的地上。
舒克大部分时间会在litterbox里解决问题，所以我很确定舒克会用litterbox，那他为
什么还会尿在别的地方？不是pee一点点mark地盘那样，是整个一大泡尿全都pee在外面
。。。是喵有洁癖么？新妈好忧郁，我每天清理litter至少一次啊。。。喵吃喝都挺好
的，淘气咬东西我还能慢慢调教，就是这个问题现在不知道要怎么办才好。。。
我担心是因为litterbox比较小，所以打算再去买一个litterbox放在浴室试试。我担心
舒克以后还会pee在之前pee过的地方去，怎么才能彻底去除他的尿味儿呢？求推荐清洗
产品。如果这样还不行的话，我只能采取极端办法让俩喵远离浴室了，cat repellment
管用么？我买了pet smart的stay off spray完全没效。

litterbox尽量买大一点，或者也可以试不同的猫砂，因为脚感什么的猫猫们不是很满意
。。。
另外，个人觉得accident发生在浴室里相对还算还清理的吧~~ |

除了学校给买的医疗保险外，应该额外买term life insurance，这种保险不管是因病
还是意外、只要是死亡都赔（但是自杀等不赔。没有哪种保险赔自杀吧）。一个月交几
十块钱，保险期结束还没用上就是为保险公司做贡献了。
另外是accident insurance，意外或者因病致残和死亡，都赔一笔钱，根据损伤程度；
最大有个上限，比如20万等等，额度不同保险费也不同。也是一个月付十几块钱，到期
用不上也是为保险公司做贡献。
我推荐千老买的是这类保险；而不是投资型、分红型的保险。那种是有钱人买的，千老
这点钱，没必要买那种，除非是富千老。我说的这种就是一个月花几十块钱，为家人买
一个保障。就当多喝了点咖啡、多吃了几顿中餐馆。不要像赵千青那样，死了还要募捐。

coverage. But as to body damage, I don't think you have any coverage ( if
you didn't purchase physical damage coverage).
Uninsured Motorists Coverage is bodily injury protection against negligent
actions by an uninsured vehicle or hit-and-run motorist. This is a mandatory
coverage in New York State, and does not cover auto body damage to your car
or damage to other property.
