superturbo, 9 handed. I had about 3, 4 bb left, went all in with pocket
aces, the big stack called me with ace king, caught his set on the river.
Later when i calculated the odds, i was a 8:1 favor before the flop. But im

life can be tough at a young age and it is what it is.
However i do like to think about solutions, think about how to make life

long anwser short, yes, it's NOT even close to a part-time job for most of
ppl, that's why stats say 90% of players are losers in the long term.
actually if you take the huge amount of time spent as expenses, this 90%
would go even higher for those small winners and break-even guys.
it's a game of edge, how big yours is at a certain level. ppl often over-
estimate their own after they win a big hand or a few sessions or months.

i've been playing poker, live first and online lately, for over 3 years now
(my earlier long stories can be found in JHQ).
to me, it's a loooooong learning process. i guess mine could be longer than
many others in that:
1) for guys better than me, they might have built a good understanding of
the game in a much shorter period of time, so they move up way above me;
2) for guys like me, some may already quit and some are struggling. for us,
we all learned on day 1 to play this style and t

skill does matter. If you can bet 1/2, you can always beat it. However, you
could be a big dog in 2/4.)
We are all fishes. Poker is a game which is so hard to be perfect. Learning
the game is a long process. We have to be patient.
To be honest, I have not systemic studied the game when I were in US. Just
recently, I rewind the mistakes I have made(through hand history, poker
books, etc). I have to agree that poker game is

even the highest hyper turbo on stars is tough (rake 2%)
I think no one beat them before rakeback in long term | c**********o 发帖数: 213 | 6 a friend of mine suck out by 2 outs (twice!) on the river against a fish in a 5600$ husng

| W********m 发帖数: 7793 | 10 Basicly if you can't win huge amount of $$ (3X of your regular job at least consistently)
, there is no point to play poker for living. Too much stress and variance
in the game as it is. | t********t 发帖数: 5415 | | t*********d 发帖数: 3398 | 12 赞长文
我发现把poker当工作来对待, 赌博投机的心态就淡多了。
